    WTB: <176 backcountry/ pow ski

Title says it. Looking for a backcountry /pow -ish ski in the 171-176 range. I know most here ski much bigger so my chances may be slim.

I'm not extremely picky. I would like for a medium waist, camber or flat under foot with early rise/rocker nose. I would like them to be cheap and don't mind much how many mounts, the top sheets, or a core shot or 2 (to some extent). I would like them to resemble skis and for me to be able to mount my Barons to them.

What I would like, or something similar to:

    Bacon's
    Billy goats
    new life's
    live life
    Vicik
    Gotama
    Belafonte
    Ruby

    Thanks!

174 2012 Moment Jag Shark...clean...$325, or 174 Moment Belafante ...25 days ...$250. Each has one mount for demos at center line.

Would a 174 K2 original Coomba be too old school? Perfect condition, 1 mount with freerides, very little wear, close to new. $200?

Age doesn't scare me much. Most important is size/ shape.

Oh, the Belafonte would be prime! The price is good but still more than I was looking to spend.
I didn't even mention any Moment skis because they seem to cost a little more.

Do the tip loops on most skins even fit over the tip of the Moments?

    G3 Alpinist skins work fine.

If using BD Ascensions that don't fit, just make custom loops yourself.

    Ive got some K2 anti-piste in 174.

They are sold as a tele ski, but would make a fine back-country setup.

Super light weight, mild rocker in the tip, moderate camber under foot. 102 underfoot.

Bases good, but far from perfect. no major core shots, edges all where they should be.

    PM me if your keen.

Damn. If I thought I could manage on 170s I'd be all over that myself. I'm light--140--but that's just too short for a rockered ski. If those were 180.... Damn.
