So jgb, you have no house, no shoes, but you have Intuitions? I guess it's time to make lemonade from lemons and go skiing? I hope Sandy didn't eat all your other gear.

In any case, if you're ever really in this situation make sure you at least bargain in a couple of fluffers.

Gotta have priorities, right? Skis were across the rafters of the garage, and my skimobile was up on ramps in the garage at it's highest suspension level. Gear = safe
All kidding aside, outside of some pretty heavy inconvenience & a little bit of pride swallowing ("I'll never take my family to an evacuation shelter") we made out pretty well. Water stopped a few blocks away from my home although with a stacked stone foundation and the ground being basically 100% saturated due my proximity to flooding/marshland/sound I still got a free swimming pool in the basement. As the water started coming in downstairs and the cops were going door to door "strongly encouraging" people to evacuate, we left for my Mom's. It was on the one hand a silly idea (my mother lives directly on Long Island Sound) but she has (had) a 12' seawall in front of the house and the worst she'd see there in 45 years that she's been there has been the water coming up to the porch. Not to mention, she's no spring chicken and I wanted to be around if things got serious at her house. Water didn't come much further than what we've seen in the past, but this time but the surge along with full moon high tide left waves crashing on her lawn for several hours, and the seawall collapsed and the front yard proceeded to wash out to sea. Unfortunately, it washed away a portion under the corner of the main section of her house, and the corner of the house basically fell into the hole. Only about 15% of the house was damaged, but the resulting structural damage makes it look like she may have to do a complete tear down and rebuild from scratch. While she's pretty upset and I'm not too thrilled about the possibility of seeing my childhood home torn down, she's already off to FL for the winter while everything gets sorted out. We're back home with power and heat, so all things considered, it could have been much worse - and is only a few blocks away. Some people a 1/2 mile down the road were so fed up with the flooding that they just decided to up & move their homes:

Anyhow, props again to otto for putting this together. I have to imagine that my liners hit the mail before my $ hit otto's bank account, and he hooked it up without thinking twice. Thanks dude.

All the rest went out Saturday and today, Tuesday, by Priority mail.
Exception is the 3 pack to '420 which went out reg mail because it was oversize.
Thanks to all for quick payments, a few nice greeting cards, and lots of beer guarantees.
Thanks again to ELski for the assist.
If I missed a fitting kit in your bag, just pm me. Didn't come in Dreamliners, btw.Life of a repo man is always intense.
