Motley crew at the Mighty, Mighty MCSB today. Country club turns for the steezy set. Us old gimps were in attendance solely for comic relief. Note to self - check torque screws on Plum Guides before skiing. 1/8" of vertical travel makes for some interesting pre-releases Many good turns had with good peeps. Still not sure what's up with those pink bases though

Winter Weather Advisory (http://forecast.weather.gov/showsigw...ather+Advisory) says 3-5" in Massachusetts tomorrow. Any thoughts on how this will play out at Berkshire East or Southern Vermont (Magic)?

Cannon Mt report
Yesterday all lifts but 1 went on windhold. Fortunately, they opens about noon. Decent snow on top, but only 2 trails. Except where they blew snow, the mt is bare, woods empty.
Today, great expectations were dashed upon the many exposed rocks. A few more trails opened, 6 in fresh on grass (or rock).
The back breaking straw was the crowd. Okay to ski until 10:30 then it was utter chaos everywhere. I know they need the money and it's vacation, but it was as crowded as I have ever seen it. I guess marketing works.
If you have a choice, choose wisely.Battle lines being drawn, nobody’s right if everybody’s wrong, old people speaking their minds, getting so much resistance from behind.

I mised out on much of Thursday's sweetness, but finally got to Magic at 2:30 and was still hitting some untracked lines. No legs on this old gimp but I had a beardful of snow and it don't get no better than that. Just wish I had pics of the pow-face.
Today was still a great day but (gasp) 10-15 minute lift lines at Magic!! Woods are in full play...lots of untracked available in the Boardroom at 2:30 today (it's on the map). Several other lines which shall remain unnamed held sweetness through late today. Greatest part of the last 2 days was getting to ski a run with GetAmped. So good seeing him back after kicking cancer's ass.

Bring extra oxygen cylinders. Can't overemphasize the seriousness of the situation in these parts. DEEPEST DAY EVAH!!!!!!!!!! Just funnin - hope you have a great time. My absence will give you boys a chance to decide the best skier on the mountain now that I am gone FWIW, I'm still in for "Brady's Bumble" as the proper name for that place that shall remain unspoken. Grip it, rip it and give it your own name BUT "pics or it didn't happen." Looking forward to hearing the tales. Wish we could be there....

So I stupidly left my book at home and googling on my phone is useless at best and annoying. I'm hoping to meet up with some friends at Stowe for Sunday, but if anyone would be willing to point me in a direction with splitboard friendly touring (not super flat), it would be greatly appreciated.
