So this has been a rough season, full of some severe sickness and injury. I finally had time to make an edit of some footage I snagged from the Christmas storm that delivered, sadly the highlight of my sesason. It's all POV, so if that's not your thing, sorry. Just figured I'd share some stoke, since I haven't done much of that lately.

Not enough gets posted from the right side of the Whites, so here are a few from the 10" that Shawnee got today. The 11 year old is learning to make it look deep for the camera, proper style:

Weasel, the kid stoke you posted above is awesome! My oldest, 4 yrs old, is starting to tear up the bunny slope and I can't wait to introduce him to the pow. Seriously awesome stoke.

Thanks PIL! It's not all rainbows and unicorns with them, there is whining a-plenty, but we have fun. The 3yo (in the orange) is still on my back for the down in thick heavy snow, but he was not happy about not getting to ski. The 6yo is the shredder of the bunch right now...she is tearing it up on her 100mm x 100cm twins. The 8yo is slightly annoyed by it all, but generally game. She vastly prefers lift-serve. :-)

Spent the weekend in ME, so I'm not 100% sure, but they were doing full ops, so... presumably enough? Called 3-4 new today (sun). I'll let someone else fill in the details, as I haven't been up that ways since 2 weekends ago. Did check out some bc that's kinda in the same area last weekend and it was dicey! But "lots" of new snow along the central spine since then. Thinking the BC around there though could use some more, but as I said, I haven't been up anywhere around there since last wkend.

    Speaking of ME,

Saturday at the loaf was fun. Thought it was going to be wicked crowded, but aside from an initial 3-5min wait to get up the base HSQ, we never really waited for anything. Got to check out some of Brackett basin, which is pretty awesome, although we found the best snow in some more "in-bounds" glades... go figure.

Today at Saddleback was terrible. The place might even have been more crowded than that damned mighty mightly place people keep talking about. The snow was terrible and the trails are even worse
Really though, one of the most fun days I've had in a bit. Love that place, what a gem. Don't think we did not have a single walk on lift, and the few inches of higher density pows made the skiing super fun. Better coverage than when I was there last year and I'm starting to figure out the layout even better. Love those old school style trails they have there, and the glades are the tits. Just wish it wasn't 3.5h away in the middle of no where (or that I didn't have to work tomorrow), but I guess that's part of what makes it what it is.

So much stoke in here of late! So great to see.
Too tired to really catch up tonight but a quick glance had me grinning ear to ear. The rest of this season is shaping up to be special. Fingers crossed.
Today will go down as a true classic. Wow. Will share some stoke soon. Wow. Holy shit, was it good. Wow.

Nice vid nj. Hope the injury wasn't pole strap related or you'll be asking for trouble . Hope the recovery goes well.

Went to Jay on Saturday and skied green groomers with the family. Ended up in Canada trying to find Pumphouse. Thanks Strawjack.

It's all in. After yesterday, even our new lines should be good.

Kid stoke and powder stoke on the same page. Right on!

Yesterday was the tele race at Bromley.

My 13 year old daughter on her way to a silver medal.

I took home some hardware too.

It snowed for 2 days but due to warmer temps didn't hit the accumulation marks we hoped for. The woods were still great fun in the afternoon.

False advertising. Isn't that the same lil piggy! Thread complete. Yummy. Do you need my address.

So when it dumps Wednesday you all can thank me. I will once again be in MD with the inlaws. Last year it dumped 5 feet at Jay. Hope you all get a repeat.

    Still buzzing from yesterday's tour.

    More stoke please.

Just popping in here to say Cardigan was really good yesterday. Skinned to just about the summit, but it was fairly windy and blowing snow at the top, so we stopped just below the top. Sorry no good skiing pics. You'll have to trust me that it was soft and boot deep all the way down the Alexandria/Kimball trails.

Hey does anybody know how long the walk out is and where it dumps you if you ski under the Slidebrook lift at Sugarbush all the way to the bottom of that first ravine off the Sugarbush side? Buddys and hiked from the condos to the Sugarbush side of Slide Brook Express and lapped Morning Star a few times then ducked into the woods, popped out at what looks like a spot where you'd get dropped off on a snowmobile to ski the Slide Brook lift line. We didn't take the lift line but did get some great powder turns in the trees and ended up taking the shuttle back to Sugarbush after trekking far skier's left almost to Sugarbush North and coming out on German Flats road.

Long hike through the woods? We saw a couple snowmobile tracks but after riding all day saturday bell to bell we weren't sure we had the energy to ride the lift line and then possibly have to walk along a river bed for a long haul. Had to get home to wives and kids at a reasonable time and all.....or....that's the excuse I'm using.
    thats new hampshire as fuck
