thx bottle, yeah we had a wild two days.

Bracket was unreal - ran into a few ski patrollers in there that weren't too stoked we ducked the rope. Had our passes pulled (by a liftie) for skiing T-Bar line, apparently it's local knowledge that you can't ski it even if it doesn't have a rope (i fully understand the regulations for having a rope there, but it's a friggin' trap)
    AND
Got called down by patrol for filming halfway down upper gondi line, super nice guy and just asked us not to hike above the ski patrol hut.

The snowfields were very very good though, firm rime up top that transitioned into beautiful bottomless powder all the way to the cat track.

All in all, got the shots we wanted, great people up there and the skiing is phenomenal right now.

sugarloaf is pretty anal about skinning and other stuff most of us like to do. the rivah is MUCH more chill in that regard. no hard asses at the riv like at the loaf. much different mt ops vibe.

Awesome! Think I might have to head there after all tomorrow night. Please snow!!!!

^^^ Wow! Seeing those photos I wish we had ducked the rope too! Great shots. If the Loaf gets the 12-18" they were predicting for this next system the whole mtn will be in play! Bam!

Great stoke from ME all, looks like the drive was well rewarded and then some, hope we can catch up here on the west side this weekend!

VTCS - Got your message and will definitely be there Saturday but most likely a pow day (hopefully anyway) with the 11yr old so probably just a hamster in the wheel day for me, will call you if that changes...which is certainly a possibility.

Sunday is up in the air at the moment, family coming in but hope to get out early before they get here.

    Sick shots RD!! Jealous
Sounds good FD, powday saturday huh.. gonna have to sneak out for some dawn patrol turns.

Finally got around to uploading the vid from Dec 1st, kindav lameish/nothing to crazy, but very fun and stoke nonetheless I hope. Pretty sure this was the first time anyone has ridden bindingless from the top of Madonna. Last year we hit Sterling for a lap after Smuggs closed and we got that late season dump. Got 3 powsurfers now if anyone wants a try...

We survived the Mayan calendar! Praise Ullr!!

    It's been an interesting week.
Two nights ago I spend the bedside with my grandma, the following afternoon she passed away.
Just pulled the trigger on an apartment in Salt Lake City. Calling snowbird cliff lodge about banquet setup and maintenance tech positions.

Enjoy the shred tomorrow. Hopefully it stays frozen through the night. I may get out for a few turns before the wake, but it's gonna be a busy day.

I'm heading out on the fifth or sixth of January. I'm sure ill see a few of you guys before then.

Another 4"+ on my deck at -1300ft, 32' and strong winds, I'd guess the gusts are over 35 mph and still snowing moderately

Hahaha. Or is that a Christmas gift for someone? :P

2" on the deck at 900' this morn.... Hard to tell how much higher up now...4"?...blowing like a mofo... Has to be 45-60mph sustained, with gusts into the 70mph range from the east at 3.5k' on eastern exposure! Winter baby!

Edit to add: prolly a real good day to be at the dark side today...good exposure for these winds. Add the TC winds to the TC cloud and you got a deep day

    Shoulda gone over there again!

tBatt, sorry about your Gramma, always rough to lose a loved one. You are making the right choice to go west, hope to see you around here before you leave.

Happy winter to all [well mostly all], days are getting longer.

2 3/4" new overnight bob, can just barely make a snowball with it. No wind currently.

Smuggs report say 3-4" in the last 36 hours. I see some blown snow at 1500, got a 4" drift.... Winds are cranking so that should help fill things in. My guess 2" of blown snow

Smuggs reporting is the best I don't know where they get their numbers from? Maybe inside a culvert on 108?

Fine with me, it keeps the crowds down.

The loaf is looking good as well rh, Lets see some video!

Going to head up and see what's falling. 4"' at your elevation sounds good to me moughoul. You going up?
