last night after I was done teaching uncoordinated moms how to ski I finally got to go have some fun!

on the way to the real destination we explored a popular area and found untracked to the road

Liz finds a line that she fits into nicely

powder skiing yay!

Me finding yet more untracked within view of the road.

we then started the skin up to our actually objective. The forest was pretty but hard to get though.

we live in such a great place. boot packing towards the top.

first turn of many good ones

Liz in what would be Easy if you were an ice climber.

just enough snow to make things fun

Its pretty freaking awesome out there right now. get out there!

I hadn't skied Wildcat since my college race days back in 1993. Forgot how much this mountain can kick your ass. So good - I feel like I need a Hoveround today. Saturday conditions were bumpy and fun with spectacular coverage.

Not sure if this will work. But there is the link to the video on facebook. I can't upload to youtube or any normal outlets. But this video is from about 1/2 way down, starting just below the steepest parts, ice bulges, etc. But that part needs more "editing". Trying to put all the clips together into one video that will show the whole thing from top to bottom.
