VT_ski, foodwise, if you have a specialty, make that. Doesn't have to be fancy... think what goes with pulled pork. Anyone know how to make applesauce?

The concierge level suites at the Pallazzo are pretty sweet (I think my son may have been concieved in one) & Vegas is certainly a party, but still can't compare to the luxury of BD's back 40 or the type of awesome party that occurs when there are 100 maggots in one place with booze, pork & fire. Easy choice. Ullrfest > Vegas. Hope to see you at the party!

Many many years ago after I had mine done (college summer) I hit Burlington the next day for water skiing, reggaefest, and a night out. Ended up puking off a balcony. You'll be fine at Ullrfest.

Bruce is in, psyched and making homemade chili for Saturday lunch!

Some fine sounding food will be eaten at the Fest. Weasel, applesauce is key. TC, Nay's sweet potato casserole sounds killer!

I'll be up this weekend to begin construction of the indoor amphitheater with VT-F, so rain will not be an issue this year...

Mangle, darkness, Jarts and drunks sounds like the perfect combo!

Thinking of trying a savory applesauce too, this year. We have done straight up and cinnamon in the past, now I am thinking about an apple-fennel sauce, maybe a touch of molasses. Hmmm......

    Snow is in the forecast.

Massive quantities of food have been ordered.

Heady Topper is providing some liquid gold.

Construction of the new indoor amphitheater is well underway.

And some awesome jackets courtesy of MiCol from Freeride Systems are on the way!:

Get your name on the list... PM me for details.

    Looks more than appropriate, ND!

Things are coming together... thanks to VT-F for helping get the roof up and general moral support. With this "base" down, maybe there will be some skiing before the fest???!

I'm thinking of bringing some home-made hot apple cider and Jameson...guaranteeing it will be in the 70's and sunny.

Does that work OK, BD? ...would it be a pain in the ass to heat and keep hot?

PPG, that sounds great.... both cider and weather prediction! No problem keeping it hot either, there will be several fires, grills going, etc.
