    Hi there, I recommend either the "Schottenhammel" Tent or "Hofbraeu" Tent for the best party. It is way to late for making a reservation, just be early and find a seat and find have fun...

    According to a colleague who lives in Germany but grew up in Romania, prost means stupid in Romanian. So he has a chuckle everytime Germans use it when clinking glasses.

    My favorite is that "fart" means "speed" in Swedish, so in Sweden you'll see signs for "fart hinder" which is a speed bump in English.

    Well, maybe the Germans are using it to mean "let's get stupid drunk!". However I would expect a compound word from them instead of shortening it. Very uncharacteristic.

    Went to Oktoberfest dressed as a chicken cuz the chicken dance is my favorite polka.
