So the guy makes a big stink about competing with the big boys, then competes against disabled folks as well.

No argument that hes had to overcome challenges I cant imagine, but I gotta say, if you claim you're good enough for the real deal, it seems pretty weak to then go school the other disabled folks.

I wish I had the South Park clip with Jimmy getting all roided up.

Oh and it also seems hes bitching about other guys with blades "cheating" based on size or something. Seriously?

he had to conform to a standard to run in the Olympics, that the Paralympic athletes do/did not.

he wasn't very smooth with his objections, but he wasn't wrong either.

oscar was jut trying for a little more publicity, seriously now, everyone forgot about bladeboy till the gripe after he lost a race to another bladeboy.

Nothing wrong or unusual at all about someone in one category of sport competing in another. Women sometimes try and compete against men and male dominated sports. The women still compete in women's sports.

In sports with age categories, old guys still can and do compete against the younger athletes.

right,

he had to pass the qualifications for the regular olympics, which meant he couldn't have extra-long blades like the paralympic athletes can.

I'm sure he'll claim self-defense, but based on the facts as we know them, I don't see how he has a leg to stand on. My guess is he won't walk away from this.
