SPAM Feeler - Banff hotel deal for Calgary mags
As a couple of you might know, I work for one of the hotels in Banff and I thought I'd see if it would be acceptable to the TGR community for me to check with my bosses and see if I can get a mag promo code to book through our website set up for this coming season. Thought I'd post a feeler here first to see if anyone feels posting one would be too spammy, I don't think it would be affordable for us to actually sponsor the site. Let's hear the reaction of the hordes!

Hell yes, give us the promo code.
I am not from Calgary, I'm from Montana. I always do a week-long ski trip to Canada every year. If the discount is good enough, that might influence my decision and choose Banff as my destination."Zee damn fat skis are ruining zee piste !" -Oscar Schevlin

Something about the wrinkle in your forehead tells me there's a fit about to get thrown
And I never hear a single word you say when you tell me not to have my fun
It's the same old shit that I ain't gonna take off anyone.
and I never had a shortage of people tryin' to warn me about the dangers I pose to myself.

Well, reaction to the idea seems positive sofar. There's no code just yet but I'll see what I can do. It may involve getting change for a nickel at check-in, anyone have a problem with that?

This being the season of publicly proclaiming your political positions (DNC and RNC), put me down as:
For: travel & lodging promo codes.
Against: Full price rack rates at hotels in seasonal tourist areas.
