Ha ha still butt hurt. Probably too steep and gnarly for a snowboarder to handle any way. Shut it down and send some chicks on teles in to check it out first. Ha ha let it go Curtis. Hope your back is getting better. See you on hill next winter man.

Thinking it could be a bit more than 60. I've ridden some lines on either side of this and they were in the 65ish neighborhood at the top and this one seems a bit steeper. This is actually three pictures of the same line from different angles. Definitely not making any claims, just a goal.

I was wondering if it was 3 different angles. Snow depth seems different so I was not sure. Definitely is steep shit. Does it require a rap 3/4 down or is there a way?

Think you might be able to point it around that corner from the choke, but the run out is always pretty bony looking. I've been up to scope it in the summer and can't believe dry MT snow even sticks to it. It just gets a massive amount of wind loading or else it would never fill in. Kept waiting on it two years ago and by the time it had been loaded with enough snow for the run out to look good the cornice was huge and over hanging. I was burying my probe without hitting ground 15 feet from the edge. In this picture there is an entrance though. I just like the concept of combining a slow moving technical mountaineering style line with a high speed pinner straightline out the bottom. A technical puzzle and long term project for sure. Almost wanna climb up to the choke and look at it, but even though its OB the resort won't let you access it from their terrain that way, so blind drop from the top is the only option.

To ski. Possibly more than once.

Yes you should and perhaps you'll want to be a part of the action. Oh yeah . . . not Boot Spur. Let's finally do some turns and talk. The turn has happened. Talked to a bud in Tride today and snow on Ballard! Woot.

Two chicks at once. I've always wanted to do that. Convincing my wife will be the crux.

Going back to my pre Freeride Systems ski ethic. Skiiing everyday. (or at least everyday I want to) Last season opened a Denver office tried to add a bunch of retailers in Denver. Mistake. Skiing #1, business behind #1 period. I'm not trying to be the next "fill in the blank" known popular brand. Nor am I trying to be Yvon Chouinard post 1972.

Ski every day in my new home of Jackson, WY
Avoiding the 9-5 like the plague.
I may have slept with you last night, but that doesn't mean I'll ski with you today.

Set up my class schedule so I can get:

    + days at Snowbird
    8+ Squaw days
    10+ touring days

Won't be easy as an engineering student.

    Also:
be able to consistently land backflips
    land Route 7 cliffs
    Ski Mt. Superior

I'd like to ski! Had a season-ending injury on 1/1/12. Damn that sucked. I am still in pain every day, but I'm getting a season pass regardless... If my ankle doesn't recover, I'll be pioneering adaptive, sled-accessed backcountry skiing. Unless someone else has already pioneered this... which would be awesome.

In Vermont, I set it up so I was out of class at 9:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays and at MRG by 11:30. Up at 4, study for 3 hours, go to class, go skiing, drink, collapse. It's doable, go for it!
