Great idea by those resorts- a great deal if you plan on traveling a bit this winter.
I like the sales spin on two "free" days at each... I guess they forgot about the $350 price tag.

Do snowboarders get a discount since we aren't welcome at alta?
Seems a smart lawyer somewhere could come up with some sort of a lawsuit.
Fucking alta.

No blackout dates.
Squaw and Alpine are considered a single resort, so you only get 2 passes for the two resorts, total. This kills the deal for me.
The 50%-off tickets are off walk-up pricing, and you can almost always get better prices than that.
I don't know how they count up these resorts as being "8 mountains."

I imagine you've thought of this - but any chance of a similar pass but pick and chose from a slate of resorts? i.e the Crystal + Kirkwood + Snowbird?

Hey Shredhead - Thanks! Most of the credit goes to the 4 resorts who collaborated here. We worked to provide them a killer tech/distribution platform (using Liftopia and our Cloud Store e-commerce engine) that matches up well with such a progressive product. It is super impressive how well the resorts executed on the initiative and we are very happy to be a partner.
Doesn't hurt that each of the resorts is badass...

Never was good at math, but that's $349/8 = $43.65 per lift ticket. Now that's a pretty sweet deal.

Alta and JH for $300. then a day at squaw covered. I personally don't really go to CO mainstream, but silverton.........Creative and I really just like Liftopia - Bump. I get torn on buying passes cause it really limits your choices for storm chasing.
Some good early season deals at Liftopia for the bird, just sayinI need to go to Utah.
Utah?
Yeah, Utah. It's wedged in between Wyoming and Nevada. You've seen pictures of it, right?
So after 15 years we finally made it to Utah.....
Thanks BCSAR and POWMOW Ski Patrol for rescues

^^^I don't believe it either. You can get cheap same day tickets if you have friends that work at the resorts but otherwise I don't think so and people with lots of friends in the industry are probably not having to shop liftopia anyway. You can get a good discount at JH if you stay in one of their properties but a storm chaser isn't likely to be renting a condo and even then the discount isn't 50%.
This pass looks like a sweet deal even if you don't use all the tickets. Unlimited tickets for 50% off at three resorts available direct from your major airport? Attention Chicago mags. This pass if for you.

I dont get it. Its an expensive discount card.
If you already have a pass @ one of the listed resorts, seems to be a big commitment for something you may or may not use.
Why all the Hopla? Why do they call it a PASS?Own your fail. ~Jer~
