We both know alligator was better than boxer. Boxer had more polish, but alligator had more soul.

For the record, my other "won't ever get tired of albums" (not that anyone cares):
Daft Punk - Alive 2007 (fuck yeah DJsapp, I saw that live too, so extra special)
My Chemical Romance - 3 cheers for sweet revenge
    Blink 182 - Dude Ranch
    Bonobo - Black Sands

    Honorable Mentions:
Prodigy - Fat of the Land/Music for a Jilted Generation
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon

Damn, five pages and barely any hip hop!? Who knew a ski forum would be full of a bunch of white boys

I can't pick a favorite between these two, so they're both going in here. Amazing albums front to back

Bumping this after the comment on "Look Sharp" and noone thinks of ALBUMS anymore. But a solid album, front to bakc both sides is an amazing thing and hard to pull off.

Hope those ^ were Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders by Tribe Called Quest.

Gotta throw GraceLand in the mix, wore that out for years

So many. Top ten would be hard. My fave would easily be London calling. Through the years it's been the one I've played most by a long shot

I already posted my favorite in this thread, and that hasn't really changed.

But the single most perfect album I've ever listened to is easily Kind of Blue by Miles Davis.

OK Computer has a really weird spot for me. It's probably the most specific album for me in terms of defining a point in my life and instantly conjures up vivid memories...

but if I was on a desert island I'd rather have a copy of The Bends

    It's a really difficult call.

The remastered, reissued ok computer has been on regular replay for me recently.

Neat! I’m going to check that out at work today.

It doesn’t make any sense, but I’m not like a big Marvin Gaye fan really. But that one album, as an album and not a collection of individual songs, is beautiful and sad and joyful and profound within a meaningful construct.

I bought multiple copies of both of these.

That’s one of my favorites, too. If we are going the jazz route, I’d have to nominate “A Love Supreme” by Coltrane. Or perhaps whatever album this is on, by Pharoah Sanders:

My favorite is still Rush's All The World's A Stage, all the best versions of their classic tunes, just keeps on delivering for me more than 40 years later.
