Any (relatively) long term review of the KS LEV adj. seatpost?
Can anyone give, or refer me to, a long term review of the KS LEV seatpost? I know it has only been out since the spring, but I have only been able to find "first look" type reviews. Any reports on how it holds up to trail abuse?

Not the LEV but my i950 has performed flawlessly since I bought it in February. I've stripped it down and cleaned/greased it once since then (it probably didn't even need it). Other than that I just wipe the stanchion clean and pop off the collar to dab a little grease in periodically. Haven't even had to mess with the cable tension. I'd imagine the LEV will only be an improvement. Go for it.

Again, not much help, but the i900r has run flawlessly on my Nomad for the past two seasons. I probably should be doing some maintenance like birdman, but haven't.
See below for a thread on MTBR. Pages 4 through 6 speak to production models and possible issues. If you pull trigger, let us know how it goes. Definitely a top consideration for me after my i900r.

If a month qualifies as long term, I'm your huckleberry.
Used it for shuttle runs at Snowbasin, DH park at Canyons, and XC riding in the midwest, and it's been perfect.
Not a single issue; completely smooth, no stiction, no noticeable movement.
Setup was simple and I didn't even bother with the supplied inline cable adjuster (OK, actually I forgot to install it). Just cut the inner cable to the recommended length and everything worked.
The lever actuation is very smooth and the lock-on bar clamp thing is a very cool detail.
To me, so far, it's definitely lived up to the hype.

I put this together a few months ago - http://www.vitalmtb.com/photos/featu...,0/bturman,109
Since then, I've been using the post almost daily. The only issue I've had is the clamp area creaks when it gets super dirty, but it's easy enough to clean. We'll have the legit review up in a few weeks on Vital, but know that it's the best I've ridden, and I've ridden almost all of them.

Had mine about a month, generally trouble free. I had a period where the drop was getting stiction-y, and then wouldn't go down. Then I found the little allen wrench in the collar had loosened up a bit, gave it a couple of turns, back to flawless. I did install the in-line adjuster, find it is pretty cool for fine tuning the engagement point on the thumb lever. Just went to a really wide bar, so I ran the lever about 3/4 inch inboard of the grip edge, didn't want to crowd the inboard side of the grip. No wiggle, no problems. Especially great is that the post doesn't extend if you pick up the seat when the post is depressed (like the CB post). No trapped air causing a slow migration up when depressed (like the CB post). I have also got my breath back by now after the sticker shock.
Life is tough. It's tougher when you're stupid

Been working for me for the past few months but I'm not particularly hard on my gear. I like the no cable movement. Talk to Kent, he said the Ibis demo fleet used them the past season and has had no real issues.
