SLC Fishing Opportunities
Heading to SLC for work for a day next week, wondering if its worth bringing the rod to hit up a stream after work. Will be working/ staying down in the Sandy/ Draper area and won't be able to get out until after 5pm. Thoughts from anyone on an area to wet a line for a few hours, not looking for anything specific?

I am not a slc angling expert but I think the Provo might be your best bet from there.

Big Cottonwood Creek is a great spot.
All I know is that I don't know nothin'... and that's fine.

Big Cottonwood is your best bet. Up high in the canyon on the way to Solitude and Brighton, the creek widens and flows through lots of beaver dam areas. Great fishing here.
