Haven't been to the UC since I posted this thread; been going to the Dev Summit. I miss those freebie San Diego trips.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Monkey Paw Brewing. Place is an awesome little dive brewery with great food that you order direct from the chef through a tiny window! Highly recommend this place.
Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't
help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

Not in downtown. Go south to El Gordo or go north to El Zarape

OsetraFishHouse, Anthony's Fish grotto, Ruth Chris, get in a cab and go to Old Town Mexican Café,

For some really good lunch go to Logan Heights to Las Cuatro Milpas . Or head over to Ocean Beach and eat at Hoddads for a great burger

Go to the Mission Beach Wavehouse and watch people ride the Brutimus Maximus standing wave while you drink. Or better yet bring some trunks and give it a try

Ortegas in Hillcrest has some great Baja style lobster without going south of the border

If you are a big fan of the movie Top Gun then go to Kansas City BarBque and eat some ribs and drink some beers. Not the best barbque but the bar is cool

Best BBQ in SD is Phil's

Go to the El Zarape on Park not the knock off on Adams (we call that one Elza Rape). That's our hood, I think the best Mexican in that area is Ponce's

My fave place to get a beer is The Blind Lady

Anybody headed to SD? Conference is July 10th to 14th this year. I'm missing most of the first day, but will be there for the rest.

    Yeah, they're still kicking around!

"Esri, which is still privately held by the Dangermonds, had $1.1 billion in sales in 2014, and FORBES estimates its value at $3 billion."
