this seems like a good thread to bump with a couple questions -

I'm headed to rainier in late may and may get a day on the front or back end of the trip to wet a line. Any suggestions for something in/near the park or the Seattle area that time of year? I'll have a car but 2 non-fishing companions so I probably won't be able to drive all day to somewhere where fishing is the only option. I'm only going to take one rod since i might not even get to fish so with that in mind, 3,5,6 or 8? What should I tie up?
