    Current driving stats:
    Distance: 30th
    Accuracy: 22nd
    Total Driving: 1st

So...what about Woods' driver is not ready for Olympic? If anything, it is his fragile dome...

Looks like Berman rehydrated. And Maltby ate a deep-fried stick of butter for lunch.

I'll say it again, I love DirecTV for every major (golf and tennis) with their "mix" channel that gives you several channels of coverage and different featured groups.

Pretty windy right now and cool. Hard to see the wind down at ground level (21 mph at SFO). Supposed to be warmer and milder tomorrow afternoon.

We get it Berman, you're from New England. Stick to blooper reels.

Expected a lot more from Westwood today.

Luke Donald shoots a 79....HAHA, world's number one my ass.

Fuck the rankings BTW, Tiger should still be number one.

Tiger is number 1 this year in Total Driving, on the PGA, which is distance AND accuracy combined. Take that Tiger haters. Two wins in a year on the PGA is more than most will ever do in a lifetime fucktards.

He will be very well by the end of the tournament. It is a pleasure watching Tiger when he plays like this. If he can just tweak his putting a notch he will win by 5.

i just saw some highlights of guys trying to chip from the rough around the green and taking 2 or 3 shots just to get on. i'm certainly not a golf aficionado, but i've never seen anything like that at this level.

Can we also spread some of this over to Rory. After he was anointed the next Tiger after his very big win in the U.S. Open he's done squat. Not that he's not an excellent player and likely bound to win a few more majors....but come on.

He looked worse yesterday than I've ever seen a major champion play.

(Thinking his wrist is still injured after last year's incident at the PGA)

Tight field. No way Thompson holds this lead. His impending implosion will be fun to watch.

I totally agree. It's so silly for people to ask wheather "Thompson can hold on."
No. He cannot. This is the U.S. Open. The pressure goes through the roof by mid-day saturday. It's why people like Thompson don't hold 72 hole leads...their mind goes to shit and they spray the ball everyhwere. Nothing against him of course. Shooting a 4 under at a modern U.S. Open is about as good of a round a golf as any human can ever play. (Que Johnny Miller song and dance about his 63 at Oakmont).
