How many beers in a case

    Carry over from another thread.

(I can't believe how many of you are dead-ass wrong)

Not sure if this is a Canadian-thang or east coast / west coast.

I always think of a case of beers being 24 in cans, but I suppose if you get bottles a case is 12

A case of Returnable bottles is 24. I spent some time in the beer retail Biz. and have done extensive research in this arena. This research continues to this very moment.

Definetly 24 beers to a case, I think it was Benjimin Franklin who said "24 beers to a case 24 hours to a day". He was one smart motherfucker so that is my answer.

Where is that waxman guy from? Maybe the 12-beer case is a Canadian thing?

12 to a case in Western Canada (don't know about the east)

Its probably because we pay the same (or more) for 12 as you pay for a case of 24. A case used to kick the shit out of a 20 spot, now you gotta buy the cheap shit if you want to stay below $20. Why just moments ago I picked up a sampler case of bottles from Vancouver Island Brewery for $22 and change.

    Mmmmm, beeeeer. [/homer]

12 is most definitely a case in Western Canada. In the east is just comes in bags like the milk I think. 15ers have been referred to as bonus packs or treasure chest (which is stupid lame & needs to fucking change). 24 is a two four or a flat (if it comes in a flat). 30 is a block.

Trick question. In the U.S., it's 24. Canaduh - 12. Been that way all my life and I'm really, really old.

Not my groceries. It's why I live where I do (that and glorious powder). But yea, pretty retarded in eastern Canada. The beer store is literally called that. The Beer Store. Nobody out that way has gone beyond the second grade (look at Parliament) or using the term 'liquor' is giving in to the separatists.

Case is 24, 12 is just a 12 pack as I stated in the original thread. So far 96.77% of the collective agrees. maybe the most people who have ever agreed on anything around here.

    +1

18 shots in a bottle of whiskey, 18 holes in a round of golf. Coincidence?

    24.

    It's 12 in western Canada, where they call 24 a "two-four". I think it's 24 in central/eastern Canada.
