How not to Kayak, an instructional video.

These fuckhead jongs were in way over there heads. Wiping out in the earlier rapids, getting stuck in sticky holes with easy ways around, and getting destroyed in the harder stuff. It's 10 long minutes of what not to do.

It's a miracle that nobody drowned, entertaining to watch though.

I'm not entirely sure what that was...

Guided trips? with paddle jongs? Some seriously bad decisions were made, the potential for pulling bodies out of the water looked high.

Other than that, it looked like some fun whitewater.

Wow. Looked like enough carnage for a couple of lifetimes all packed into one trip.

    I especially enjoyed:

-The segment where one boat was already stuck under an undercut and the next guy comes down and appears to also be working on getting jammed in there.
-The several instances where one guy was stuck in a hole and somebody else dropped in on them.
-The guy going over the larger waterfall manages to lean far enough forward so that he basically lands head first (not easy).

    Got to love the Russians!!

Paddler 1 : "Hey, I can roll in a pool and paddled across a lake once"
Paddler 2 : "Cool, lets go run some V+"

I normally get bored by POV type videos after 3 to 5 minutes but watched that from start to finish, mesmerized by every second, trying to guess which paddler would be the next to flip.

What gets me is that the leader had a kit plastered with Adidas logos. Not sure who it was, or maybe he just borrowed the kit from a friend, but if not, it seems like he took his buddies down a rapid which was easy for him, but they had no business being on.

Speaking of how not to kayak, does that American Express commercial crack anyone else up? Sorry if repost, I never come in this forum...
"One season per year, the gods open the skies, and releases a white, fluffy, pillow on top of the most forbidding mountain landscapes, allowing people to travel over them with ease and relative abandonment of concern for safety. It's incredible."
