    have had similar experiences but usually a may thing. the climbing in this shot wasn't too scary. Retrieving the stuck rope after was.

    We found decent coverage on the highway side of No Name. A couple of snow drifts on the road which are probably melted out by now.

    We rode up from the 395 side. You can drive up to the usual gate before the summit.

    going to Zero at the Crystal Bay Club Saturday night so I’ll probably ski Tahoe Fri and Sat

    Gonna be quite hot this weekend (high of 60 at 10k). Let's hope we've fully transitioned to a corn cycle by then. Was planning to hit Shasta this weekend but with 70 mph gusts in the forecast (at 11k) and the fresh opening might pivot to Sonora.

    did done that - just strapped the fucker onto a pack frame and carried it up to an old Sierra Club hut to demo the foundation - our mule didn’t show up
