That cat's just honest - they ALL want to kill us, but most of them are just too scared to just putit out there.

    I recommend mousetraps instead.

At the SPCA, ask for a mouser or an outdoor cat. They usually know what's up.

All our cats were mousers because they were barn cats and either they were mousers or starved. But they'd like to bring their kill up to our porch, meow until you came out and acknowledged what a good kitty they were, then they would crunch down on the little mouse skull and eat it.

But you want a cat that can at least spell “Free Cheese” on a crude sign with an arrow pointing to some type of trap, whether it be an anvil the cat drops on the mouse victim or a loaded cannon that blows the mouse away. Look to old “Tom & Jerry” cartoons for more inspiration.

My family always had cats when I was growing up, usually 2-4 at any given time. We found that female cats, on the whole, are WAY more loyal, and thus more likely to kill shit for you as gifts. Get yourself a female alley cat - one that has had to survive on her own for a bit. If you take good care of her, she'll kill every living thing within 200yrds of your house to show her gratitude. Guaranteed.

The reason cats bring kill home is not really gratitude. It's instinctual for cats to bring kill home to feed young. That's why female cats are more likely to be good hunters.

When cats get pissed at you, they shit/piss/puke in your shoes. Better hide the loafer collection.

What kind of filthy hell hole do you live in? What is your old lady doing during the day? I have a few answers to questions you may not be ready to ask.

Ours are great mousers and keep good watch. Very nice, too... two brothers my wife rescued from the city.

They love to chase this feather at the end of a stick, so if you can, see if the cat is interested in chasing around a feather on a stick...

Find a queen who is a good mouser, and get one of her kittens at several months of age. If mom is a mouser, little kitties will be mouser. Don't get a kitten if mom is a birder, as kittens will likely be more into birds then mice.

I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...

    Besides chasing feathers,
they also like to sleep a whole lot and lick their assholes in public.

Had a few mice get into the house this winter...they'll do that to keep warm...anyway...i have a cat..never been an outdoor cat at all. Shes wicked overweight, easily 20+ lbs....she got both the fuckers that got in the house..its kinda an ingrained trait....they all know how to do it...motivation though..who knows.

    Good luck.

Seems a little extreme to demolish the house just to get a mouse or two.

i think its not a feeding thing that they gift you a dead mouse, its that they are showing you how its done since they think you are incapable of doing it yourself

You should collect a few resumes before making a final decision.
Took me like 10 minutes to figure out how to change this shit
