Swing is in freefall! Taking a weeklong breather from training and golf.....hitting the reset button as it were.

Looks like NMC caught some nice weather in Scotland.

So which round was more exciting? Looks like Monday to me. Better bang for the buck.

And yeah, nutmeg, those pics are awesome.

Well I was a machine marching forward on Sunday but couldn't hit a putt. Was not exciting just ho hum get the ball in the hole golf. Yesterday, I was all over the place and sinking putts to keep me in the game. If I could have had a little flying creature action Sunday it would have been solid or if I could have just finished 18. The Eagle definitely made my day as I blew an excellent opportunity on 15 too (made a par).

    Sunday 40 - 42
Monday 44 - 38 Did my best Cam Smith impersonation with 9 putts on the back.

First it was my sister last week sending videos on the family WhatsApp of my brother-in-law playing Ballybunion (while they were there on their honeymoon) and now NMC on a grand tour - seems like Ireland golf is just taunting me..... looks amazing!

    Fore! Who's playing golf, yo-

I played Ballybunion in July in a steady 40mph wind. Drove it over the 18 green with a 19 hybrid; 400 yards. Also played Old Head twice. Day one the last three holes were in dense fog (nice before that). We were following Luke Donald who had a shot at the course record till the fog. Day two was torrential rain from start to finish. We weren’t wasting the $400. It’s cool to see the heli’s come in there.

    Tendonitis (Golfers Elbow) sucks.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

I stayed at that white hotel with the awning in Kinsale in pic 5. Irish breakfast (included) is hard to beat.

Killarney is awesome. Hope you stay there.

Hogs Head helicopters were flying in to Old Head for lunch.

We stayed at Perryville House in Kinsale.
I came to conclusion I don’t like Irish bacon (too salty) and don’t care much for black pudding.
We are staying two nights in Killarney at The Ross.
    Moving to Waterville tomorrow.

That’s the breakfast I remember. Nice parkland style courses near Killarney. Irish open played there. Beautiful parks. Killarney is great. Local flavor

    Urgghhh

Had it last year and yes it does suck. I used a compression sleeve but really nothing but rest helped it.

I hit off a lot of mats the winter before I got it. I didn’t this year and so far I have been fine…knock wood.
