    Not just golf.
Anything too expensive or too difficult, doesn't look like appeal Millennials.

I don't know if I agree with that, but golf has serious style and stuffiness issues that creates an uptight aura. Every course/club is different, but you can run into that scene (person/group) everywhere.

From my experience the largest impediment to golf is time. All of the boomers are aging and not playing as much and their kids have young families and can't commit to 6 hours of golf (including travel, etc) on a regular basis.

Figured you choads would be the ones to ask. Where do you leave the rakes? The etiquette nazi's growing up taught me to put the rake is the trap. "The rake is part of the hazard". The golfer not in the bunker should not be penalized by the rake. What say who?

I tend to do what is done at the club I visit. Most are low side or in the trap. Should always enter and exit from low side. Anything I'm missing?

Fuck golf. Every facet of my game is a disaster right now. Mental midget I guess. Two weeks off usually helps. We shall see

Leave them on the low side, away from any collection areas.

Fuck me!! Got this in response to asking if my buddy was playing today.
"Not today. You were mentioned yesterday. Played TCC. Our 4th hurt back. Dropped out. I got the email "do you know anybody to fill in" too late. Fuck."

TCC is The Country Club. I've played it once and it's awesome. Wish I never saw that text. I'll be thinking about this all day

Yes and it's on the market now for only 43 million.

On the course, but that won't even guarantee you membership to the TCC

Just cut his Achilles tendon. He'll never get through the ball, leave all his weight behind the ball and block everything to the right. He'll quit the game.

What kind of club allows t-shirts and cargo shorts on the property?

I like rake blade in the bunker with handle on the fringe. I don't like having to step in the bunker to access a rake.

Once you're in, it's anything goes, but you'll never get in.

I've seen a female member shirt open at the table and breastfeeding their child. Very crusty, laid back snobs.

i think touching the rake in the trap is considered testing the surface and is a penalty. you cant remove impediments from a hazard. annoys the shit out of me to have the rakes in the traps. in those fuckers a lot

the "shit that annoys you thread"? we need our own. shit that annoys you as a golfer.

subwoofers by the pool thumping as you play the 18th hole
