Have embarked on a grip strengthening odyssey now that the real season is almost over, need to shallow out my swing plane and hit it more square . First few days at range of awkwardness already paying off , man my left wrist hurts already. Right arm needs to get used to just coming along for the ride after many years of the latter. Baby draws - coming up.

Fall golf is the best for sure. Played the last round of the year with the umbrella in the car. Rain starts tonight and might not stop until June.
A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.

my golf buddy who moved to s.d. is coming up to visit today for a short trip and we're going to squeeze a round in for old times' sake -- 90% chance of rain, thunderstorms, 55 degrees and windy!
as the lawd gawd intended the game to be played!

played ok, first out and had the whole course to ourselves, literally, until some dude shows up out of nowhere in the 18th fairway when we were on the green like we were holding him up.
had a great time with a good friend.
even got a few sunbreaks.
