Also, I feel bad for you guys dealing with jammed tee sheets all the time. Just looked at the tee sheet for the course Iowagriz and I are members at (not the one in the pics above) and...there are tons of open times before 10:30 today...then it's a little full...but then there are only three tee times booked after 2:30. A good day to bust out 18 in 2 hours in the afternoon. We had an 8:30 yesterday (Saturday) and played in 2:45. Not bad when the golf memberships are sold out and have a year++ waiting list.

If anyone is ever in Missoula and wants to play, hit me up.
Ranch Club? Hope to get up that way again next summer.

Yep, reach out if coming this way. I usually get a handful of passes. If those are out, I think guest price is $75 (cart included)

Awesome will do! Played there a number of times when I lived in Missoula 2005-2010 before it was private. They had a great twilight back then.

5 hour 5 minutes for 18 yesterday at keystone ranch, just brutal nobody there gives a shit about pace. My friend bailed on me after a 2 hr 40 minute front 9 and I would have too if I didn’t shoot 39 on the front. Kept it together for a 78 and not like I had anything better to be doing anyways.

I guess I’m surprised. I’ve played several destinations I prefer to Ireland: Monterey, Boyne Michigan, of course Bandon.

I loved Ireland courses though they kicked my butt.
Personally I think Ireland is a lot harder than Scotland.
The weather was tougher, wind was stronger, fairways were narrower, dunes were taller and uneven lie everywhere.
But I must love the pain.
I can’t wait to get butt kicked again.

    Shot an 85 (+14) in our 3 clubs and a putter contest. I used 5i, 9i, 52*, putter. My thinking was 200 -150- 100. Low round used 3wd, 8i, 60* (+5).

I found I was able to make some sweet shots with a choked-up 5. It was easier for me to have decent approach shots vs. my cart mate who won. He had a hard time as he was 120-130 about 9 times and maybe hit the green once with his 8 (His 165 club).

More fun than I thought. I only managed to screw the pooch off the tee 1x and then again on 18 when I hit probably the best T shot of the day, but was aimed at the wrong target for such a perfect strike and had to take a drop. 2 trips + 2 doubles + 1 bird so not much different than my full set.

Glad to hear you discovered how much fun it is of just hitting a ball to different targets with the club that you have to swing.

Kudos to TM warranty department. Wasn't supposed to be covered since I bought it from a random person vs authorized dealer. I kindly asked them to replace it on goodwill anyway and new Stealth head is on its way.

Booner that looks like a fun course. This was this afternoon. Might be one of the last days out this year at least on this course. They close this coming Sunday. Doesn't mean I can't walk on after their closed if it warms up a bit. Started out in the mid 30's and the high got to 40 degrees mid afternoon.

Last round without an umbrella. Had more GIR's than normal. Mishit into 4 trees but they all let the ball straight through. Weird. Got off to a good start. 1st hole.
