I was recently in the area too for the most ridiculous 60-dude mess I've ever seen. Everyone plays their own ball the first day and then the top 30 draft the bottom 30, then a calcutta, then a two-day best ball with your teammate. And lots of people "getting their levels right" in a way that I haven't seen anywhere but at a Phish show.

Also...not gonna lie...I looked up the logo on your bag to see if it was that Valley Club...

If you're talking about the one in Montecito, most definitely not! I'm from little ole Sun Valley, Idaho.

North Bend is great, if you can make it.
But that once or twice a day flights are so unreliable.
Sorry you missed your tee time.

Glad I got a day on the OG Sheep’s Ranch before they broke ground.

Used to be obsessed with golf. After a couple years off feeling like I might wade back in this spring. It takes so much time for me to pretend like I can play, maybe I set a time limit. 1 hour of practice and 1 round a week. Ha. Probably won’t be able to play under a 10 at that regiment.

Parred 14 in the middle of a string of pars, so I got that going for me…which is nice.

Pac Dunes today. 20-30 mph winds and rain. Gotta love it! Likely won’t be taking too many photos…

Left the cold and snow of NorCal for a weekend in South Florida. Was delicious and got out with a strange set. Put together an 86. Played with some Cousins I don't get to see enough and dominated the bunch.

    Love the Bandon pics.

Just got back from a Tampa-area bender where my brother made me play 6 rounds in 4 days. Pretty good if you're a private golf snob and into that sort of thing. I had played Palma Ceia, Pelican, and Buckhorn before, but Sara Bay was new to me and that place fucking slaps. A fully restored old Ross course on the best land I've seen in FL (limited travels). Here is my brother on 18 about to make his third birdy in a row (in a 3-club wind! Scratch golfers piss me off) to snatch victory from the good guys at the last second.

I can't believe I didn't get more good pics here, which has insane land movement for a FL course.

Then on Tuesday I heard booking for October '24 opened at Bandon. I was working from home and after waiting on hold for 2+ hours I got two four-bedroom suites and then things got a little out of hand...or maybe a lot out of hand.

Sara Bay is a nice spot. My son went to school just down the street, and I have an in there.
