^ Sounds like a very enjoyable round! I shot 97 yesterday, not great but it was a beautiful day on the course with friends.
Can you spot the ball?

Hey Kungpow - didn’t know you played Peacock. We should get out sometime. 18 can play long...

Yep, Peacock is the go-to (Or Mcinnis for quick practice rounds after work) . Also play Indian Valley and Fox Tail regularly and then sprinkle in random rounds around the Bay.

Boyfriend’s work participates NYC Big Brother Big Sister golf tournaments every year.
This year is going to be Quaker Ridge Golf Club and they need a player.
Boyfriend wants me to play and I need a miracle by next Tuesday.

If you don't keep score how do you measure a man?
By his height.
Four ball $5 buy in tonight. After hitting a 9I on a par 3 I left it leaning against the bench. Noticed it's missing when my approach on the next hole calls for a 9. ( I hit a chocked cut 8 to pin high but on the apron, lucky shot) I ask the group behind me if they had my club and they said they "We saw it leaning on the bench and left it there." Borrowed a cart from them and drove back through two more groups that said the same thing. It was there when I got there so all was good. Replacing a 20 y o "Custom System 3000 Hot Forged Mizuno Knockoff" iron that was fitted to me is not easy.
Help me out here with your thoughts. Why wouldn't someone pick up a lost club and turn it in?A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.

Always pick up a found club. Even yours.

About 15 years back I found a driver leaning against a ball washer. I used it, liked it so I left a note with the pro and took it home. It's a Custom System 3000 , same as my irons. Golf gods must have sent it for me to find. No one claimed it and it's still in my bag. The shaft was a bit soft for me at first so I had to guard against a hook but I've aged into it at it's perfect now. They were selling new for $17 and change on Amazon a few years ago.

I’ll be the ball!!!
Going to cut and regrip Scotty Cameron Coronado 2 which’s way too long for my short arms.
New setup will fix all my putting problems! (not)
Still need couple more clubs in my bag.
I’m missing something between 7 iron (125-130) to 5 hybrid and 5 hybrid (135-150) to 3 wood (165-185).
Thinking about 6 iron and Ping G400 4 hybrid.
I love my Ping so much even considering to replace M4 3 wood to Ping G400 fairway wood.
After replacing driver and 56 shafts, my set should be good for many years.

When my putting went south I got some medical tape and wrapped a couple of layers on my putter grip. My putting improved 100%. Now, when I sink a long one and someone in the group says "Nice putt!!" or someone complains about their putting I reach into my bag and offer to sell them some of my "Magic Putting Tape" for $6/ft. So far no takers but it's their loss. When it comes to the most unathletic move in sports whatever you think works, works.

Fitter cut good few inches off of my putter.
No wonder I looked like I was putting with borrowed putter.
Tuesday is confirmed.
I’m in it to win it.
Eeeeeeek!!!
Won’t be able to practice or play over the weekend since I’ll be in Charleston watching other ladies’ playing.
Maybe I’ll play on Monday after work and work on some last minute stuff.
Any word of advice???!!!

Play the gold tees. Leave the cellphone in your car. Keep your shirt tucked in.

I was told to tuck in my shirt on a private course once as a visitor. Forgot to bring a belt. I felt less guilty about a 5 iron ricochet I played off one of the bathrooms out on the course that I needed to hit to get back into the fairway. Only shot I had, honest.

Putters lose a lot of swing weight when you cut that much. There should be some heavier weights from Titleist to compensate.
I wouldn’t fill that club gap you think you have. You will get better faster learning to control distance and ball flight with a single club. Move the ball slightly in your stance or choke down.
In fact, you’d be better off with less clubs, not more.
