Left home 3pm on Friday and arrived 1pm on Saturday.
(JFK-Amsterdam-Edinburgh-St. Andrews)
Barely slept over red eye and a nap/time difference totally messed us up.
Now 2:21 am, we are wide awake and trying to find a channel to watch US Open tennis live.
Wonder what time breakfast will open.

Damn Choi,
Didn’t you start playing a couple years ago?
You are a bonafide golf junky.
Expect to see you enter some tournaments soon.

Dumbarnie Links today where Scottish Women’s Open was 3 weeks ago.
3 pars, 1 birdie, 3 blown off holes, 48/47, 95.
Old Course closes on Sundays for the public.
So you know, Jack is copying me.

Still can’t make it 18 without a double, but made enough birdies to make up for it.
Good enough to get into the state golf association mid-am.

Nice job! I'd love it if I could make a round without a triple

Its that time of the season when the members and tourists have gone away and I can manage to slime my way in to some of the high end Tracks in these parts. Tomorrow is the Reserve at MLB (Nicklaus) and next Friday is supposed to the The course at Spanish Peaks (Weiskopf).
Fore!!!!! Dammint!I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Played a wonderful nine hole course in Madonna di Campiglio over the weekend. Great layout through meadows and forest with a absolutely jaw dropping back drop. I forgot how far the ball flies at 1650 meters. Built in 1923 it’s the fourth oldest course in Italy, almost a high mountain links layout. I’m usually underimpressed with golf over here but this one was a real gem!

Northland Country Club in Duluth, MN, a 1920 Donald Ross course, is one of the coolest courses I've ever played. SAVAGE greens, incredible elevation changes, and non-stop views of Lake Superior.
