5" of rain in 5 days. Extreme casual water in some of the low spots.
Judging by the 100 yd marker looks like 115 to the center after my drop. Click image for larger version.

A few people feel the rain. Most people just get wet.

Building muscle back 6 iron. I played 4-5-6 in player's cavity all yr(X Forged) but want to play the Apex MB in the 6 after realizing I probably don't need the extra help in the 6 with these. The Apex MBs are just too good

    Simulator Build Update:

Do not do it. You will find yourself slipping down the rabbit hole of GolfSimulatorForums and then you will loose control over your wallet.

Still waiting on a February SkyTrak delivery.

Have spent a bunch more money on the stuff for a 11x 8 x5 enclosure, projector, impact screen etc. It is not arm and leg expensive...YET....

Saved a bunch of money going the DIY route over the prebuilt systems. I will update again when things start getting put together.

Got out for another (Winter / Ski Season) round yesterday. Always fun even if my game was all over the place. Sometimes I feel like a pro then I have to venture to the next tee only discover that I do not have any game.
I'm cool with this, as long as you Kirkwood Bro Brah's stay away from Heavenly when 88 closes- TahoeBc

Good on ya! If you’re not playing for money, the feel of the MB is so much fun!

Shit...I'm pretty much always playing for money

Blades have the most control and iron play is a big strength of mine. The only reason I don't play them all the way thru the set is to get long irons up in the air a little easier when I need to hit a high shot. Thought I'd need a little help with 4-5-6 but the apex MBs are easiest to hit blades ever so I'm only sticking with a little cavity in 4 and 5 only.

Distance control with a blade is unmatched. If I used these distance irons the avg golfer uses I'd probably give up 4-5 strokes a round going long with a perfect strike

Cool tool to have a home course. An accurate measure of your play?

    Not at all.
Getting out of rough and sand is way too easy.
Since putting’s a joke, we set auto finish witch finishes your hole once you get on the green.

But it is fun to play famous courses and see your shot data.
Good substitute for the off season.

    Fore! Who's playing golf, yo-

I’ve been using a simulator about every other week. The place we go has a full bar and a Chinese restaurant affiliated with it that delivers to your bay.

They are great to keep you swinging and are really pretty accurate with yardage and ball flight.

Putting is not dialed in, we set it to 12 foot gimmies so you still have to roll it if you are outside 12 feet.

Sand/rough is just like a regular shot, so you get the same experience as Patrick Reed

How much do they charge in your area?
Ours $55 for weekday and $70 for weekend per bay, per hour up to 5 players.
It was me and another lady who’s a good and fast player.
We were able to squeeze out 36 holes in two hours.

Winter rates are $50 per hour. With putting they say a 15 hcp should be able to play 18 in an hour with putting on. No putting I’m sure we could get more holes in.
We have been doing 3 people for 3 hours and getting 18 in no problem. Then we goof around in driving range mode to finish off our time.

Good one. After few too many led to a swim in the pond, the beverage cart girl at Webster West told me that the code of the BCG was "What happens on the course, stays on the course."

I saw Wooley had posted here, and was wondering if you were out today. If you were, I'd call you crazy given the current weather and your frozen lake pics a while back...

Teeing off at 11:30 on Wed between the waves of the Pineapple Express. Sunshine baby!! 5" of rain melted the 6" of snow so the greens should be holding well.

Awesome. Good form. Good to see them getting at it.

Played 18 today and forgot my putter. My 30 year old 3 wood was a good enough sub for a bogie round. I didn't miss any more 10 footers that usual.
