    Frozen hole! That's awesome.

Anyone interested in a mint condition Scotty Cameron Futura 5CB putter? I've only had it for several months and despite a hot start I've come to the conclusion that mallet head putters are not for me in the long run. Put a thick grip on my old Newport 2 and that seems to be my best match. Retails for $379 and I'm selling for $275 (shipping included in the US).

I've played in both December and January this year (Chicago). Looks like I am going to miss out on playing every month of the year here as there is now about 14 inches of snow on the ground. Kind of the opposite of the "ski every month" challenge.

my brand new birthday clicgear 3.5 is still a virgin. set up twice in the living room, folded up in the garage ever since. it's driving me nuts but my back seems more into snowboarding than the range. i'm going to try to hit only at a grass range this season and save my body.

No, it's not legal. Like using a salt lick on a deer hunt. You could use that club if only the score matters. Or you can play "Trump golf"and just write whatever numbers you like on the score card.

    This was friend’s mom’s driver.
She got it done in Thailand during her golf trip.
    Evidently it’s popular in Thailand.

Does that improve the performance of a club when it's thrown?

crap. Planning next week's Vegas golf trip. Fly out Friday, but saw a St. Paddy's Day scramble at 9am that fits perfectly. $37 including corned beef box lunch, commemorative golf hat, etc. Weather looked decent at the time....now is rain showers and high in the mid-50's. Guess i'll keep the rain jacket in the bag...

Rain in Vegas? What is that like? A couple of dribbles?

    For a laugh....

Have any of the shorter golfers here hit the TM M4 and have thoughts on the 58 degree lie angle vs the 16 and 17 M2 with respect to draw-bias (or let’s not kid ourselves; duck-hook shit fest that requires painful wrist manipulation to mitigate)... ???

Anyone else (this is very specific and random) hit/get fitted for/purchase the PING i200 irons and be painfully disappointed at the distance loss?

I know a loft is a loft (the iron number doesn’t mean what it used to) but even a Mizuno medium/low HDCP forged “GI” iron yields +1-2 clubs from the PING setup....

If I’m 150 out (depending on terrain, wind, and elevation), I’m hitting an 8 or 9.... not thinking about an awkward 7 on those weak PING pieces of (nope; not shit) high-lofted softies.

Any sub-7 hcps want yo comment on how the regular chrome soft got fucked up (or didn’t) with this new graphene geodesic dome encapsulating the inner core?

I rely on Chrome Soft 16 and 17 for sub-par-tits-and-on-course-sexual-favors-from-slutty-match-dot-com-preppy-country-club-brats....

Because any CS golfer knows the CS Hard was shit. (I respect that a certain cohort of more actual pro-level players liked it, but the putting, chipping, and approach play was so different it might as well have been another ball)...

I had same experience with ping a while back. Lost a full club in distance. Shaft just too light and head not beefy enough.

Bridgestone red box is the best ball I’ve played.

    Fore! Who's playing golf, yo-

^^^^^^^^ yeah man; I truly believe Bridgestone is the best ball out there. For three years (and many good rounds) I played the B330RXS, and just loved it... switched to Chrome Soft out of curiosity/boredom, and was blown away, so just kept with them.

And since, I’ve shit my first 18-Hole sub-par round. So with that it’s kinda hard to play a different ball.... EDIT: I mean, for me.... all balls can be good fir different people.

I would have agreed until I was given tp5x's by a friend last season. Higher trajectory, almost as soft but longer with no loss of spin around the green, I was sold. Slightly more $ but if you jump on the early season promos you can get them for $33 a box personalized.

Is that PING i200 a cast club? About 30 years ago I got fitted with cast heads and lost 10 yards. Did a refit with forged and that's what I play. Same clubs. Might be time to shop. ProV 1's are easy to find either in the store or 200 yds on the right in OB for cheaper. I can work it right or left as needed and I've got that feel dialed in for chipping and putting and that's half my game and how I win beers.
