    Fore! Who's playing golf, yo-

Feet together 7 irons to fix slice. Basics. Chin up! Good work though. Very good.

Basic stance and setup only changes slightly for cut/draw.

Slices tend to improve pretty easily. It'll work itself out, your swing's come so far already.

I can feel things are coming together.
By next year, I’ll play better golf.
Because of this golf bug, I’m almost sad winter is coming.
But then again, who am I kidding!!!

Nice day for golf. New friends means you're doing it right IMO. When I want to hit a slice I set my stance open like that. I got rid of my beginners slice when I hurt my back and started hitting it straight. After 2 weeks of icing and aspirin before golf so I could play the back still hurt. I went to my doc and told him how the back by my ribs hurt but my slice was gone. He laughed and asked me why I wanted the back pain to go away if it fixed my slice. Funny guy.

    Played with young Korean couple.
Wife is accountant at Winged Foot and also a good golfer.
We talked about getting together for another round soon, so we’ll see.
It’ll be great if it’s Winged Foot, but I highly doubt it.

Doctor has to be a dedicated golfer!

Had the biggest money tourney of the year today. My 6th year doing it. Finished 2nd four times and 3rd once, coming into this yr.

Skins money is big and I've gotten a skin every year, which is what it's all about.

Got second again this year and a skin for a healthy payout.

Left one 1/4" off the edge from 125. I hit a cut to 4' left of the hole and it ended up on the right side of the hole sitting on the edge. Figure that one out. Closest miss for hole out I've ever seen.
If it's green, smoke it...if it's pink, poke it

She did say Winged Foot is a lot more uptight than her previous employer which was Quaker Ridge.

I don’t know why my practice swing is the best swing.

My fix, think shoulder alignment, make sure shoulders are on line to your target.

A quick helper without changing a lot is to think about pulling hands down/thru harder/faster...crack the whip on the way down

Slice is an unfinished swing at the bottom essentially

You likely have a weak/open grip. It's really uncomfortable but fight to make it stronger/more closed if it's weak. Most people have weak grips and it's gonna go right a lot

That’s solid. (Almost) Perfect position for an iron at the top.

    Stance, timing and ball position.

faded a perfect 5 iron from 180 to the front and left it 20 feet below from the hole for birdie. missed it 2 inches right. the shot that made it possible was from out of layers of trees after i sliced my drive.Name: 20180924_140853.jpeg

I’ve gotten better keeping the back swing under control.
But I also need to constantly pay attention.
Otherwise good old “let’s go as big as possible” comes right out.

Swing is looking great T. I'm working on shortening mine also, tough to do without a lot of practice.

Rare afternoon solo 18 today. Started on the back since the 1st tee was looking busy, had another solo player in front of me but he moved quickly so I never caught him. When I got to the front there was a local HS team going out to practice but only 1 group had teed off and the coach says to me, "tell them you are playing through and if they don't get out of the way, you have the green light to drill one." Once I got through them on 2 I never saw another person, 18 in 3hrs 20 minutes and I was in no hurry, my kind of golf minus the beers!

    I love this.

Cut it off the edge of the rock. If it doesn't cut enough....It bounces of the rock into the fairway!
