Just made my golf purchase for the year, a 3-wheel electric push-style cart. BatCaddy X4 Sport to be precise. Got $100 knocked of for being new/unboxed, so ~$400. I'll sell my pimped-out (seat, cooler) Sun Mountain V1 push cart for ~$120 or so. Might be lame using a motor, but I enjoy walking much more than riding and tend to play better as well. I used one in Portrush for a round and really dug it. ~40% of the members there that I played with use them (~40% had push carts, ~20% carried). Just need to figure out mounting for iPhone, beverage holder and sandmix, gonna skip all the other accessories on this one- ninja like.

The robot caddy model would be just the ticket. Hook up a smartphone with voice and ask Siri how far to carry the bunker, where to land it and the stats on me hitting a fade from here.

We had a Doberman at the time. I tried to get her to chase the geese off, but they just attacked her like in those pictures. They are fearless and take no shit from anyone.

If you're playing from the tips that should be no problem for you!

I believe it's player's option. You can take the result or get a free re-hit. May depend on a local rule.

Local rule is a ball striking a wire or pole MUST be replayed. Course plays 5300 from the tips with a 365yd par 5 that I played 5wood 100yd sand wedge, 100yd sand wedge a chip and 2 putts. Interesting. $39 with a cart and $50 play all day Mondays. Sun Country near Cle Elum, Wa.Click image for larger version.

Tree lined and defended. Reachable in 2 if you can hit a high tee shot that goes 250 hooks 40 to a blind landing. The 2nd shot would take a high 40yd slice, not a fade. First time I played there and don't use a GPS app.

Oh one of those double dogleg holes. There was one like that at one of the courses I played in the Bay Area, maybe Sunnyvale?

My home course for hs team had wires going across fairway on first tee.

Free re-tee if you hit them
If it's green, smoke it...if it's pink, poke it

Made an interesting birdie the other day. 40 yards out, tried to hit a low spinner, skulled it, nothing but cup. The kid on the mower watching me couldn't believe his eyes. The ball probably never went higher than 6' off the ground.

First round of the year today. Played like garbage but hit just enough good shots to give me hope.
