I've been in Nashville for a week and wasn't sure how much golf I could sneak in since I was with the family. The first round on Friday was at Gaylord Springs and was $83, but I drove by the course the day before and it looked so good I decided to splurge instead of going to one of the many munis here. My wife and kids went downtown to a museum and other tourist things so I then played another 9 before my wife picked me up with the rental.

Yesterday I played one of the munis called Harpeth Hills for $40 with a cart on Sunday a.m. The course was in fantastic shape and the greens were fast and also in great shape. Today I was able to sneak in 9 at another muni called Two Rivers that was also in great shape. If I had played one of the munis before GS I would never have played GS. Muni courses here are way better than back home and also a bit cheaper.

I'm not sure what type of grass the greens are, but they hold up really well and there are no ball marks. It rained all of last night and this a.m. and I skied a 9 iron in and couldn't even find a ball mark.

Keeping it alive in the Presidents Cup. Won my match and now flight. IN the $! Was +2 through 8 then put 2 in the hazard. Just need to clean up 2 -3 holes per round...and make a few more putts.

My pictures suck, but playing in mexico is fun, caddies for everyone! Oh and dead possums on the fairway.

My buddy Geezer Bob is 88 and shot his age today, which is not unusual for him. He's pretty amazing.
Me- approach my ball, line up, back off, take a couple of practice swings, address the ball, pause as I run 50 swing thoughts through my head, and swing-sometimes I even hit it crisp.

Him-walks up to ball, faces target, and swings-usually hitting it solid and down the middle. His mind is sharp, too.

    Fore! Who's playing golf, yo-

One of the most enjoyable rounds of the year tonight. My son and I play every Sun night (was going to be tonight because of holiday) but he fucked up and didn't do his chores so I went solo.

Course was closed when I showed up at 430...pull cart it was...

I saw 2 other singles on the course all night. One of my best ball striking rounds of the year, which I needed. I played 2 hungover rounds in a row and was off my game a bit.

Club championship is this weekend. I'm on my best behavior to stay well rested all week and will be playing every night but Wed leading into the weekend to keep everything automatic

Actually it was neither. I had already putted in and dropped the ball for a pic with the rainbow.

    Thx!

I plan on doing damage tomorrow. Today was early tee off and I'm not a morning person.

Tomorrow is 1130 tee time with sun and mid 60s with light winds.

I'm going to drag my dick all over the course

    Fore! Who's playing golf, yo-

At Torrey Pines for a conference and shot a mediocre 94 yesterday on the North. Good time with prospective clients;meh on my play.

Course had been recently aerated and greens were slow/bumpy. Not an excuse for my play (had little to do with it); just a heads up on conditions.

I had dinner at the course last week with the member who had just finished 2nd in the club match play championship that went to the 19th hole Bittersweet for sure.

My wife is a 40 HC on a good day and somehow won women's the club championship one year. She rubs it in.
