I played decent except couple triples and 3 three putts.
Fail to break 90 but set the lowest at 91.

You have a really good turn...probably better than mine.

First vid you're a little hunched. At set up think of setting up more like you're getting ready to field a baseball at shortstop. Helps get the spine more vertical and shoulders back. You don't have to come up out of it as much when you set up less hunched.

    Second vid looks pretty pure!

    I know!
I saw all those from the first video and tried to correct on the second.
I need to video my swing more to see what I’m doing.
    Thank you for the feedbacks!!

    Good swing. Two tips:

    1. Chin up at address. Don't have bridge of your nose facing ball.

    2. The first shot is fat and too far up the clubface. Trap the ball and take a divot hitting the ball on the lower half of the club. The tee ball shot is pretty good because your are hitting up and not at the bottom of your swing.

I follow Berkshire on IG and he posts a lot of shot by shot vids.

Guy is a complete freak. Incredible accuracy for a swing like that. His long irons sound like a rocket launcher

Went out yesterday afternoon for the tenth time this month. I've played as much this year as I have in the last 15 years. Having fun walking my local. After a 45 minute rain delay most people left. God I love an empty course.
Played 22 holes. Turned into a very nice evening for a stroll. Felt like May again.

Ha, ha. Buddy of mine plays a lot on his phone.
Talks a big game but never actually goes out.

75 at San Ramon muni. Easy course but hit it well. 13 pars, 4 bogies, 1 birdie. Shoulder a little sore after. I should just hit 3 wood instead of driver.

San Ramon had those covid ball removers where you use your club. Super trick and a huge improvement to the game. Rounds are fast now.

I like that retrieval method. I've heard some say the foam causes more lipouts. Speeds play too?

The practice is starting to pay off. I’m playing to my 13 handicap again. I hope to drop it to a 9 by the end of the season. Learning to accept the bad shots is a big help.

Kyle grew up playing at the course my house backs up to. His dad owns the course. I remember him as a a little redhead kid. He hit it about 50 by me when he was 13.

Rare weekday golf at Links at Union Vale.
Played with couple seniors who are my favorite kind to be paired with.
Jon who’s 81 still shoots the shoot.
Chuck with titanium shoulder still showed up to play.
    Great day.

Couple of firsts for me today.
    Played a new course.
Rode a cart for the first time this year. It was hot. 90'.

Course was Whitney Farms. Longer and flatter then I am used to.
    We played match for beer.
High lights - winning four holes outright, three one putts and three pars.
Low lights - 3 putting three times. Twice on par 3's and once on a par 4 for a bogey.

The Good - Course was in very good shape for the most part. Greens were excellent and challenging.
The Bad - No description or view or map of each hole anywhere. And carts were not GPS equipped. A few holes were not obvious.
The Ugly - The attitude of the check in cashier. The carts were not cleaned of trash (huge bad in these Covid times. Made me wonder if they were cleaned at all) and seats were all wet from the rain the previous night.

Always liked the hill and dale layouts in the NE. Elevated tees and tiered greens.

Played the Old fart couples league tonight. Guy asked me what I was gonna shoot and I said 41. 3 pars 2 boges 2 dbl and a bird on 8. Need a par for 41. Popup a 100 yd drive. Flush a 4 wood off a side hill lie to 60. Wedge to 12ft. Sink the slider with a 2ft break for a 41.

    Damn, you travel!
Playing Bethpage Black? Must be some talent and skills in there somewhere.

    Fore! Who's playing golf, yo-

My game is struggling right now and I'm a week and a half out of big tourney week...and dealing with a nagging painful fatigue injury

I'm looking forward to seeing how far I can step up, potentially without my A game

Don’t you hit like 130g stiff with forged irons?
