Lobstah- The sour guy is Max, and a super good friend of mind. His poles are kick ass (I have a pair), and you would deff be supporting an all around awesome guy.

If I ever break or loose my scotts I will buy some panda poles. I don't really care about the bamboo but the shogun grip and that tapered basket are exactly what I need in a pole.

the pandas look like the plastic basket is potentially prone to easy breakage maybe.

I just figure you want something more malleable there and not stiff.

i use bamboo poles all the time for five seasons, even fashioned a pair into strictly bc use. bamboo is strong like skier, do not fear the bamboozle, bamboo poles are the new steez.

Skiing with bamboo poles is like using a 'boo fly rod...pretty and old school, but composite is vastly superior.
I agree it is a constitutional right for Americans to be assholes...its just too bad that so many take the opportunity...iscariot

Picked up some free bamboo poles from the 80's. Going to give them a try next year. They seem pretty strong. They are not as thick as the PandaPoles - those things I think would be bomber based on my hand-flexing of my 80's poles.
