    Sub 400g rims.

Looking into building some XC/trail wheels.

What rims have you guys had good luck with as strong XC wheels that can take some abuse in the sub 400g range?

Anyone ridden the WTB Frequency i19? Sun EQ21? Alex?

I'll likely run something like a 2.2 tire on these so they don't need to be super wide but I don't want pinner thin either.

dt xr400 are pretty nice rims too.

i built up a wtb i23 wheelset for daywalker, really nice rims, FWIW. very stiff rim for the weight, build nice, etc. dunno about the i19, but i would assume equivalently nice.

I've had really good luck with the Laser Disc Trail rims in the past.

At 19mm internal width and 385g the i19 seems to be a pretty good width/weight ratio.

How much do you want to spend? You won't do any better than Enve...

I don't even want to spend what it would cost to insure the shipment for a set of Enve rims let alone the actual cost of the rims.

Looking at the budget options, this is why I left Stans off the list.

I have a pair of brand new Sun something or anothers that are in the sub 400 range that you could have for $75 plus shipping!
Just saw you are in Canukaduh, prolly not worth it.
    Anyone else?

they are also fairly inexpensive compared to DT/stans/etc.

Those bend really easily though. I went to stan's, worth the price but not quite as nice as mavic rims. Stan's are made by Sun btw.
