Silverton Sunday?
Thinkin about biking/camping in Durango on Sat and skiing Silverton on Sun. Don't feel like gettin stuck in a group of hacks and would like to meet more mags. Anyone gonna be down there, or want to go down there? Leaving Breck early tomorrow.

Word of warning, the trails low and close to town around Durango are dry right now, but forcaste for later today and tonight may leave them wet tomorrow. Same with Phil's World. Don't want to be a buzzkill, but the prediction is 60% for rain/snow tonight and 70% for tomorrow, and rather cold.

If no biking, two days at Silverton isn't the end of the world. Haha. Other plan is to ski Handies, but it's lookin pretty damn stormy above treeline.

Soooo worth it. Eagle biking was good on Sat too, though the moisture was much needed. Motos were killing the moon dust with ruts.

Biking ended up being good Sat. morning in Durango, but then it snowed a couple inches in the afternoon. What were the conditions like at Silverton? I opted for the 16" new at Wolf Creek Sunday. Silverton Mt. never updated their snow report on Sunday, and friends that went bc at Red Mountain encountered a windy whiteout. How much did SM get?

^ what he said... pretty damn epic, with a blue hole here and there
Cabin was delivering the goods as well, and we had some fun in the steep trees jumpin off pillows and small cliffs around the corner - felt the crust in there, but it just made the technical stuff more spicy and interesting.
