Wow...I just got way more respect for Audi. It's not your uncle's old 4000 anymore.

The average NFL player's career is 4 years. What is your point? Make your money, and enjoy your life.
I think his family has some $$ too. His address is in Monaco. The skiing thing will end, and he will be a driver, or a car spokesperson, or something.
    Dude is a businessman.

Actually quite the opposite, I remember reading some story about him having to pick blueberries to be able to afford to go skiing or something like that. Dude is self made.

Total businessman, working on the right continent for what he does. Skiing has a little more outside appeal in Europe than the US and he takes full advantage. The guy is a skier, but by being "fashionable" was able to attract some different types of sponsors. New sponsors led to new fans, etc. One of the smartest athletes out there when it comes to self promotion and making a living from their sport.

I mean ability wise (ignoring the racing), I'd put him maybe around the same range as Dumont, but Olson makes a hell of a lot more bank and will continue to do so once he's done skiing competitively.

Dude's like a national hero up there in Sverigistan and seems to have made good decisions. But hell Bode is rich and the Hermannator is rich, lots of people have made big money skiing, why shouldn't he be rich too?

Anybody heard anything about his ski racing dealio? Is he still working on that?

    Same company.

Audi R8s and Gallardos are the same thing. However, the Gallardo is faster.

So they are the same but not the same?

    A conundrum.

True, but I'd take the R8 anyday over the Gallardo.

The Lamborgini is obnoxiously loud, screams "hey look at me," and I have yet to see a single owner that knows how to operate a clutch properly. The R8 on the otherhand seems to maintain some semblance of class, style and performance.

Suppose it's moot anyway. Surprisingly I did not win the mega millions last week.

that thing could be the new batmobile. it's amazing looking.

in all reality though, i wonder how much the ground clearance affects its snow performance.

iirc, the Gallardo is still assembled in Italy, and is known for still being a bit off compared to the german r8s. That's been part of the reason for the switch, from what i've read on his site.

I too wonder how something that low is in the snow.

I'm not sure I like the blacked headlights, but it still looks mean as hell.

They dont look as dark in this picture though, so not as bad.
