anybody around Taos still checking in around here? What's the ski valley looking like? decent base? still some goods open?

basically wondering if it's worth the 50 bucks late season special?

going down next week and we'll also be paddling if anyone wants to share shuttle on the lower box... pm me

I was down there all year until Monday, back in slc now...conditions a week and a half ago were all time...then 55 degrees up top for a week plus, a few stretches of 30-40 hours above freezing...i left sunday, and i doubt it got any better.

Spring skiing is strange there, i'm sure the lower fronts are good, most everything else is either slop, or ice I'm assuming. The coverage was definitely awesome, and i'm sure early west basin is still probably skiing the best. So things are open, just a matter of sun exposure.
