I noticed the increased ads, but the wanna-be viral Reels are way more annoying. Just looking for some stoke and instead you get the annoying computer generated voice narrating text that's also on the screen, the "wait for it" but then nothing happens clip, or the clip that could be cool if you had any clue what's going on. Garbage....

Funny to see this thread start out "woo! Hey who's on Instagram, let's share!" devolve into "social media sucks and it's all whores." That's ok, I'm pretty much at that point too. Fucking influencer thing has brought narcissists out of the woodwork and raised our kids to live or die on attention whoring. I do enjoy the hard hits though.

@epicliftlines and @i70things are my two favorites right now for the laughs. But yeah, between the real ads, the ads that people who are “influencers” create (believe me, you’re influencing nobody) and the contrived horseshit posts, I’m done with this crap. The people who post everyday with inspiration quotes or shit about how great their significant other is so cheesy. Nobody cares or needs to hear about how amazing your husband is because he took the kids for a day or took the trash out.

More often food at a restaurant…like four people all doing a photo shoot of their food before eating it. I just don’t get it.
