The last two nights have been good to us. The lake is finally starting to fish really nicely. I just hope it keeps going like this all summer and fall.
Ashley finally boated a fish, after breaking off on two. Her knot slipped on her first hook up for some reason. I watched her tie them, moisten them, and tighten, but it slipped. And the second fish just straight up broke the tippet right in the middle after it jumped. Oh well thats fishing.
Our dogs love giving fish some kisses.
I got some fish smell on me to.
Ashley's fish from yesterday.
The best part of every catch.

Hit up Rock Creek in MT for some camping and fishing. Forgot the camera while fishing but the pics were from in front of the tent. The big horn ewe, and the baby you cant see (got swept down stream when it went to deep) were taken after finishing breakfast. All national park. Fishing was fun as hell.

Found a few stripers this weekend. 8 hookups boated 4. This was the nicest at about 18-20 pounds.

no rain in 2 weeks in north vt, makes for the lowest flow fishing I have seen. Brookies are the safe bet.

Fishing up here in Alberta. The Crowsnest River flows through the south west corner of AB. These pics are from Frank Slide, AB where in 1903 Turtle Mountain collapsed creating the views below.
these next pics are from a river near where I live, but won't mention the name in fear of getting my ass kicked for talking about it to non locals...I've already said too much.

Few from my Birthday Float. Beautiful day, almost constant action. The only bummer was having to be on the sticks all day since my wonderful wife can't row, not even a little. On to the goods.
Puppies love the water.
And the release.
Can you say King Whitey?
And the fish of the day. I wish all river fish where like this.

recent rain helped the flows and fishing a bit up here in Northern Vermont
small 9-11" bows were abundant on stims and x-caddis
medium browns taking hopper/droppers already
Larger Browns taking double nymphs with a slight strip
the views work around here also

Got to fish a small stream in Souther Utah last week near Panguich Lake. It was no bigger than small stream here in VT maybe 20 feet wide and ankle deep in most places but there should be a sign that says "here there be MONSTERS"
This guy took a prince nymph and was a real fighter with lots of head shaking, But in such shallow water he really didn't have anywhere to run. I also landed a cut tie bigger than this guy, but he was camera shy and broke off when I went for the camera. Guess I need to buy a landing net.... I hooked several other fish in this size class but did not land them.
I also caught a bunch of these tiger trout, they are really pretty. Good thing they are sterile hybrids as they'd over run a river in no time with their aggressive nature. This one shot out of the water for the fly and fought much bigger than his size.
Got to take my wife and son to a stocked pond near Cedar City. Lots of dry fly action with a few decent sized fish.
We also did the Zion Narrows and the Kanaraville Falls Narrows hikes.

Well, if none of these amazing pictures you guys are putting up make the cut for a TR, then my shots from 3 days in the beartooths certainly don't measure up.
