Isn't there another Gore thread, like from two weeks ago? Thought of bumping that? You're such an enigma.

I heard they turned Gore into a geriatric living facility but my source could be wrong.

At least I was on the hill, and not on the computer...I actually skied in beginner lessons with my geriatric peer. We are old!

Thanks for all the laughs, guys. Gore was sketch but some skiing is better than no skiing. Hope you got out today. It was fun.

Looks like another day tomorrow. Should be fun. I heard it's mid-60s. 60s all week. Bittersweet.

Ok I admit I was breaking balls yesterday morn whilst enjoying some Belgian beers. I'm from back east and hit both Gore and Hunter a few times as a teenager. Which, in your opinion, has better terrain and more consistent good snow?

I have skied Hunter a handful of times. The southern storms make for good snow if you can handle crowds like Grand Central or Penn Station. Reckless all over the place. Good terrain for a small mountain. I stay away. I lived in the ADK for a while and prefer Gore. Great terrain as well as surprisingly fun, tight tree spots. Gore gets snow sometimes when Whiteface doesn't. The runs aren't as long as Whiteface, but some fun, fairly challenging terrain. Should be a slush fest today.

Thanks for the response. From what I remember Gore has fun terrain and possibly more vertical compared to Hunter. Never made it to Whiteface which isn't far correct? Have fun out there today, I'll be sitting at a desk doing work bleh

Gore has much better terrain than Huntah. And 10x less douchebags. And not 30% of the population carries a handgun.
They get pretty robbed on snow, though.
Ski patrol took my pass today. And then I got it back. And we enjoyed burgers and beers in the sun.
