Volkls are sweeet I'm assuming that the white ski next to the Karma is the next V-Pro(Dogen?)

For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

Other than the Volkls and the K2s I'm not really feeling anything here.
Seems the graphics departments elsewhere need to be fired.

    you are feeling those sids?

    not me......

i think those guns have a much stronger graphic, also the 4front more better.

although i have never really though K2 to have strong graphics.

the gun is the pocket rocket, right?

I like how K2 pulled off the Fujative - with the clear topsheet/core material, and that little bit of art...that's awesome!

I think 4FRNT would do better if they took ques from Zoo York or something.
They seem to be trying to invade that scene but with half ass artists.

I'm more partial to the 03/04 pistol graphics than the sids, but they're sticking with the semi-mountain theme which I enjoy. I forget the artist's name, but I like his work. (except for the sid head, which is kinda... eh)

I wonder about the Stockli Stormrider AT. Seems interesting have to see dimensions and actual weight and see how they stack up.
Move along nothing to see here.

Those are the new "Seth Vicious" aka the new Seth Pistol.

So, I suppose a little bukake is probably about right?

I don't know if they built all of the Surreals people ordered or just a batch though, and I know nothing about the status of the Rs.

Each of them will ownerize BC and inbounds, which is why they've both been reviewed in the BC mags and alpine mags. FWIW Goode is using the mold from the first prototype Tabla for his huge non-swallowtailed version.
The Goode skis look pretty kewl. (New line is on the web site now, I think...)

But holy crap are they expensive! The pow boards are one 10 spot shy of a grand! Even more than DB (!?!)

Maybe the extra premium is so you get your skis soon after you order them?

Is it me, or has Salomon's graphics department been overrun by robots?

Be afraid people, be very very afraid.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

The mantra must be mine. Wierd how they made the tip almost as wide as the gotama, but the rest is thinner. I wonder how it rides.

I posted this in another thread, but this is deserving of a better spot.

Haskins was at SIA and got to fondle all the new shiz. The best news I got from him: the 05/06 Gotama has p-tex sidewalls. Yup, they finally got rid of that damn wood.

Volkl clearly has the most progressive vision for it's line. The skis are really one step above anythng else. Maybe it's due to the fact that skis perform better than they look, I dunno. But think back to the 1993 Volkl line and it's amazing how far they've come. Both Volkl and K2 have moved beyond the box in terms of design, but the cartoonish nature of the K2 is missing the putiry and soul of the Volkl's. They are the modern art of ski top sheet design. The 4frnt line is also innovative and is growing on me, but as a new ski co. they have an advantage of not having a brand image to change. I think the new Solly look shown in the skis on the left of the above pic is a nice step in the right direction, but you can tell that the Adidas, Mavic uber machine has a fear of alienating any one potential demographic, Rossi is in that same boat. Nothing really new from them. In fact the new "B" line looks like the previous "X" line and the current "B" line mated.

In that respect, then you have to give props to K2 for not giving a fuck who they turn off.

It is my opinion that if you like how the ski skis, then the topsheet shouldn't matter to you too much in the grand scheme of things. My pistols, while certainly nowhere near as beautiful a design as some of my previous boards (Iggies with "Joe" pattern, for example), and the fact that I consider them pretty ugly, are still gems in how they ride. Not that I've gotten more than 1 day on hood on them to figure that out, thanks to this season...

I'd be interested in how the Volkl Sumo skis, but I'm still not for that topsheet - it kind of looks like barf.

Anybody peep the Rossi women's line? Good god, ugly! Seriously, tiger stripes!

I hear ya, but when viewing pics all I can go on is looks, my comments were strictly from the design asthetic. Nothing to do with performance.
