Commies are already indoctrinating no pole behavior into our children. I've seen groups of groms being taught by 'professional instructors' and even on the first day, no poles. It's incredibly obvious, isn't it? A foreign idea is introduced to our children without the knowledge of the parents, and certainly without any choice. I can no longer sit back and allow No Pole infiltration, No Pole indoctrination, No Pole subversion and the International No Pole conspiracy to sap and impurity all of our precious ski groms.

What am I supposed to do at this point? Win the Chinese Downhill?

Maybe I hold a Heartcarve Invitational in the Golan Heights for next winter, who would I invite, who would come?

.. perhaps people that create their own HC derivative models ..

Tom from Austria probably would. With his rax skis it can be a mutant ski shitshow.

    My edit's up: http://colab.tetongravity.com/entrie...drian-wajsbrem

Tons of good and interesting footage this year. Personally, I like the wild and trippy stuff as well as the hard-charging without necessarily the high difficulty tricks... whatever floats your boat. Stay tuned.

Cool man, keep us posted. The ghost of Pat Morita is my fantasy football team owner, I've won like 3 out of the last 4 titles so you should be good too.

I still call it The Jake.

Pat was a winner. And yes, we all like winners.

Avatar's been changed. Just getting a vid in the comp was the win for me.

Now it's about integrating the future into the present.

    Strong but limited, thanks.

I'm having the ski moulds sent back from France, and I might have the skis remade to correct some weaknesses. Then I'll proceed with a new design if all is well...

    I don't have a timeframe on this.

Also, there's a bunch of new ideas on heartcarve.com for keeping the movement going... basically a new ski, a course (still tweaking the specifics,) a snowboard and a heart-party (which is just a music event with industry personalities attending.)

(the ski can be either full reverse camber for pow and deep carves, or else have a flat middle - for the course to make landings easier.)

    "Meathammer".

I would otherwise gotten this ski but it is Warp Resistant. As I ski in speeds between Mach Schnell and Warp Speed this might not be suitable for me.
Pity. The name would have been apt.

The floggings will continue until morale improves.

Any other links to the video? It seems like it's been taken down. Something about copyright.

The original video was deleted when my YT channel was terminated. I rehashed the video as Heartcarve Austria 2012 but it's not quite the same. 200 views vs 30,000. I am also using some 125 skiboards so nothing that new there but the spirit is there.

I entered the colab with my custom skis and this vid... (the final third is pow)

(I actually think the carbon fiber polecam I constructed has issues with being too flimsy .. but it was very light and comfortable to hold)

I devised the Custom Piste based on these 2 videos which I didn't include in my colab entry:

    1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXbKErK3VBQ (Shake a Leg)
In this video you can see my back leg shake a bit on the hard groomers. I put that down to having a tail that isn't wide enough. User Rozboon noted how pressed up I am with my shins against the tongue. That is true. He saw that as a weakness, but I see that as where my power is being channeled: through the entire boot -- and I can also lean forward like I am jogging.

    2) https://youtu.be/_RwdjbmXSh0?t=76 (Paris Slaying)
This video I am just skiing a groomer. (jumps to 1:17)

I suppose there are some very vague similarities to the BBR but I think Salomon need to keep pushing the envelope, not seal it up on failure.

There is nothing that comes close to the Meathammer. Maybe if you took the BBR and mounted it center and reversed, you may have something similar, (but reverse camber would be needed.)

Hi Boss, hmm, there's a cult on the other ski site here with 11 members... I posted my original heartcarve vid from 2007 in the How to Heartcarve thread.

I still think about it, but when you're 50 years into the future.. the need to deliver new material year after year lessens. I am working on some heartcarve hiphop dancing right now.

I also dug up some footage of attempting a carved 360 from few years ago:

I've been working on a film idea and was wondering if anyone wanted to share any feedback?!?

    Here's a quick overview:

Danny lives in the city but craves the mountains to ski and be in his most natural state. But one day visitors from another part of the universe sense his incredible stoke and want to emulate him and his Heartcarve skis on their own planet. Eventually, Danny and his new friend Zimmy engage in a mindblowing struggle to bring the stoke to all of Earth and then far, far beyond.
