What in the fuck? Whoa, and here I am thinking how fucking stupid this hole pole cam fad is, and then whammo, a product designed just for that purpose. And just when I thought there is no way you can possibly top that you post up the "carvers" and then just when you think it's all over, you see the price. Mind = blown...wow.

... when you look at other prices for custom skis, it's cheap. The polecam should be be around $150 or more, not sure yet, I will definitely know in a couple of weeks. I'd rather get all my gear for free myself. Capitalism for ya.

    the newschoolers are coming.

(when I saw this my head snapped back)

Henrik Harlaut from Be yourself (7:23 -11:00) - disc. And there's been some lively debate on NS about poles or no poles.

So I'm just waiting for Ian McIntosh to catch on in one of his high consequence lines.

And for a while I thought this was all some elaborate troll. I don't know if I'm disappointed or amazed.

I myself am humbled by the power of heart.

And let the doorway open wide for you, comrade.

    As it is for me.

(the first pic I saw of the "carvers")

and so let the journey be wondrous for all the pioneers of heart.

When I read your posts on this heart carve crap I found myself wondering "what the fuck is wrong with this guy?" And " is the most elaborate troll in the world?"

Well then you go and make those godawful looking planks...............

    and TOTALLY ReDeem YOURSELF!!

I still don't see the allure or rationality of it but who gives a fuck. Your dedication and perseverance in the face of everyone talking shit is pretty impressive. When you set your mind on something you commit and don't give a shit what others think, that's admirable. Now if you would just set your sights on something lucrative (and appealing to other people rather than JUST you) you will be a rich man someday.

we all just slide down snow with crap attached to our feet, whose to say your crap is crap. As long as your having fun.

I'm pushing forward anyway, thanks. To be rich in spirit is all that matters at this point (as you would appreciate) but not requiring a hospital stay to get there and still having some dollars to walk away with. hmmm, I'd actually like other ski makers to do an hc model with the logo and then I'll run the hc community website for group pontification. That may work. Let's see if there's demand for it.

I should add: would be great for ski resorts to close off runs and put up obstacles and banked turns, like skier cross but less jumpy:

how I see it... 1 skier at a time, maybe have safety barriers.

Often the steepest runs at a resort get moguls... I'd like to see them stay fairly flat and people-free. Then the true power of the heart can manifest.

Do you think anyone else is interested in this? This is a serious question.

Have people ever approached you seriously asking how to get those skis or ski like you?

I see this more as a hobby for you, but you could be onto something, look at the mono-ski. A bunch of sweaty nut sacks and some common sense later those things are just a novelty now.

Thanks, there were some people on Newschoolers very interested initially, and obviously some haters, but I really need some new footage, which I'm getting.

Yeah, you know it's all very well for people to take the piss from the GSA, but I am building up to my day of taking the piss from those who take it from GSA..... muahahahaha.

Back from first day of pow. The heartcarve skis are brilliant in pow. They float pretty well (being 155 I presume they're not going to float like a 180) but the tips can fully submerge and there is no concern of diving over (they're fully rockered.) I don't need to lean back like on my other skis. Will be putting video up.. but it could take up to 8 hours as internet connection here is very slow. There is already one of piste skiing up on my site from Day 2. It's snowing now and I caught above ankle deep pow.

I am interested in these. Can I mount them with Solly Guardians, or will the footprint of the binding be longer than the skis themselves? I have a size 375 BSL, FYI.

Possibly my last post here on this thread (or close to it.) I feel I have built up a blueprint for the future of skiing... well at least for me. It's been great having the thread going so long as it has helped me clarify much of my thinking (and build a vision.) Thank you.
