Keep away from the dual kayaking vids, and there's some deeply disturbing rollerblading videos out there too.

    Don't watch this.

    Heartholding

    Miles Dyson - Can`t hold this (1:15)

(cannot embed) - Fastest Speed Dragged Behind A Motorcycle (at 1:10)

    World`s Most Dangerous Sport (1955) (0:48)

The Terminator - Nice night for a walk (at 0:55)

Incidentally, Terminator is also a heartrider and heartcarver! His roots in Heartriding:

(cannot embed) - Terminator 2 "I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle" 1080p (3:46)

    (cannot embed) - Terminator 2 Judgement Day - Canal Chase - HD (6:23 - 9:02)

My heart and mind is now metamorphosizing to the new reality. The process isn't easy - it's not meant to be, otherwise everyone would've done it already!

The disturbing roots of our other heartrider:

    Top Gun Recut (2:14)

TOP BUM: Top Gun Volleyball Squad (Cruise/Kilmer) (8:38)

And finally, a valiant attempt at combining heartriding and heartcarving:

    BMW GS on ice......motorcycle skis! (at 1:37 - 3:17)

I'll be sticking with heartcarving, myself.

Wait, and give it a couple more years. So far we're up to heartcarving, heartriding and heartholding. You've been wrong on the logo being a sperm and saying I'm a slider.

So the rat still runs wild, but not for too much longer.

Hats off to an American Heartrider:

"Where it concerns the doping monitoring industry, the biggest kill on the planet would be one Mr. Lance Armstrong. It just doesn’t get any bigger than Lance, particularly in light of his post-racing charitable and health pursuits."

Great article: Lance Armstrong: The Quintessential Survivor, The Ultimate Hero

Now, to successfully confront chemtrails and other malfeasance, what's required is a good dose of heart-hitting, and for that we should look to Roger Federer, a proven heart hitter:

    November Update

    November and Psyched (4:57)

    - skis (speedboards) will be 155cm -- around 170mm tip, 68mm waist, 150mm tail, waist 7cm forward of midline. Reverse camber, handmade wood ski. I want to drop into my carves when I hit terminal velocity. Not sure how these would be in park and powder.

    - polecam is a very high quality black carbon-fiber pole extendable to around 170cm with an extra long cork grip (not as cold as plastic) and good for two hands. Up to 2 ball-socket camera mounts opposing each other at the top end. With two cameras it's good for framing oneself and behind (or in front of) oneself simulataneously. Retracted, it could stick out of a backpack or with the camera mount removed it could be locked up with a cable lock. It shouldn't be a big deal to carry, and I'd prefer to carry it than a backpack with it inside.

    - I think most pov polecam is poor due to camera placed above pole, thus the lower part of the body is obstructed in the frame by the shaft - this polecam can avoid it. Also, many polecams are not streamlined, are too short or too heavy. Polecams can be difficult to use when maxing out, but this one should make it easier as it is light, and easy to hold with two hands or rest on the shoulder. It also has a safety ball that can be placed on the end of the handle to absorb shock should one hit it in a fall. The idea is to let go of it in a fall anyhow and it doesn't have a wrist strap.

    - polecam video should be up in around 2 weeks. Skis about 6 weeks. Actual skiing: end of January, early February.

    - last winter I found the polecam really useful for filming park jumps by standing off to the side of a jump and placing the handle on the snow and using it as a monopod. With dual camera mounts, I'd like to place it beneath the lip with one camera pointed to the sky and the other pointed at the landing. Also, leaving it standing beneath the lip or at the side of a jump means the filmer can go elsewhere for additional angles and cams. The pole could also stand unmanned at the edge of the pipe, one pointing to the sky, the other down the pipe. I've found it's best to dig a small hole and bury the handle so it remains rock solid if unmanned.

    - In fast turns I found my gloves falling off due to them not gripping a pole. I've got some elbow straps now so they can stay attached to my body. How do snowboarders get around this problem?

    key vids:

    - (30s) - really liked the rearview shots of the other skier while fanging down the chute

    - (1:49) - 1000 FPS in the park (first shot from top of the jump)

    - (3:31) - Soul Driven: long-board skateboarding to James Brown with a polecam

    - (2:50) (2:11) (2:10) http://youtu.be/fKwZU2ypkEA (2:39) http://youtu.be/TC8wCrE1EL4 (3:05) - Radiocontrolled multicopters: big area of future mountain sports photography. But can they withstand the cold and be fast enough? Aerial chase cam from a drone would be awesome.

    - (4:03) - nice pov skiing shots - with a polecam the camera would've been further away from the body and it wouldn't have picked all the bumps and vibrations if the arm and shoulders stays relaxed.

I don't really know what to add at this point. I primarily just wanted to get that video up as it is something I've had in the back of my mind for a long time and is meant to have broad appeal.

I'm trying to work out what'll be more of a game-changer: the skis or the polecam. But if you can handle both, then you're in for a ride that goes well beyond the ski run.

I just realized I have a large pole basket that can be placed on the handle (as opposed to the safety ball or handle cam) when using as monopod so can avoid burying handle completely in snow.

The safety ball can also be placed on the camera end. I think that hitting someone with the camera was the biggest fear when initial video posted.

I'll have to include these important points in the product video, heh, can't wait for that..
