Personally, I don't like the Office (haven't seen the Gervais version), but I would never suggest that it isn't a funny show. It's just not my thing.

Gervais is super funny, he wouldn't be so popular if he wasn't. Doesn't have to be the comedian who floats your boat, but to say he's not funny and then try to prove it is just weird.
