any chance of cross-pollinating this with the gaper spirit animal thread?
We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

system, you've gone too far this time.

I think the dual gopro helmet on the horse rider is excessive.

    Ohterwise, incredible piece of art!!!!

But there would be no love if they didn't have anything in common! She's doing hardcore unicorn riding and he's a mountaineer. The got the POV love going. Why do you hate art?

Besides I would have never got the idea to work on this masterpiece if it wasn't for kidwoo's awesome windows paint skills!

PS... did no one notice the awesome clowny face in the explosion cloud? I can't believe no one commented on that (not my work).

This one definitely needs to be in the Gaper Spirit Animal thread.

This, and shouldn't gaper spirit animal guy be riding the shark that is shooting lasers at the walkers? He seems too xtreme for love.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

    Bumpity Bump
A couple of my photos from a thunderstorm earlier this week went sort of viral on Facebook over the last couple of days. Of course with popularity come haterz accusing me of Photoshopping the photos. Granted I did use Lightroom to develop the photos but I didn't do anything extreme to make them fake.
Here are the two of the photos that garnered the most "Photoshopped!!!!" comments. Did I go to far in editing them?

The lightning in the first shot looks really bright.... but then again, lightning is really bright.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, people bitch about everything these days.

Nice shot... screw the people who don't get RAW.... maybe a hair much structure on the horizon... that bright area shows how much unsharp masking happened... but it does add contrast. On the whole a good image.

The second one doesn't load for some reason.

Yeah, I was a little sloppy with the graduated filter I applied to darken the cloud portion of the photo (see below, lightning was really bright). I was whipping through the photos to get a few posted before I went to bed that night. I went back and readjusted the filter positioning to fix the overly dark hilltops.

I actually had to tone down the lightning a bit in that shot to be able to see more detail in the bolt rather than a bright blob.

    Revised version...
