Can you disable a Subaru panic button?
The panic button on the key for my 2012 Impreza is not recessed, and I set it off probably once a day from it getting accidentally pressed in my pocket. Anyone know if there's a way to disable this "feature"? I looked in the manual, and there seems to be a way to disable the "chirp" sound when you click the doors open and closed, but not to tell it to ignore the panic button.

Get a bit of epoxy, heat it up so it's runny, pour it in / over the button?
I'm not taking any responsibility if doing that fucks anything else up.Originally Posted by Smoke

Having tangled with cars twice, I agree. Being right doesn't matter when 4000# meets 185#. I'm no douchbag hipster though. No single speeds or fixies in my bike quiver.
